Are ya ready for some hoss wacin ♫ ♪ ♪ ♫ Sunday afternoon hoss wacin ♫ ♫ ♪
(can ya believe in just a little over 2 mos., we'll be back to NFL footsball action?)

Hamstrer, for sure I hope, Sportsaholic, Hogman, Koz, Peepers, and certainly any MJer I may have left out. Let's see if we can getem today.

(er, NO, I ain't a pothead or a dwinkin man, just in a good mood that's all)

I'm ready. Card looks a little better today.

6th race: This is one of them races where I feel ABSOLUTELY certain that at least one of two horses will hit the zacta and both would be no surprise. Neither one is the favorite too. I still can not believe that I felt this way about 2 horses in one race last week, both got bet down from ~5-1 morning line and BOTH ran out of the moola. I was stunned and paid the price of being wrong in that race too.
OK, sorry bout the commentary, the horses are no. 3, Awesome Arcino, and the no. 4, Whoville. I'll be shooting for trifectas: 3/1,4,6/1,4,6 and 4/1,3,6/1,3,6 . Whoville may get bet down, but a trifecta is a trifecta.

7th race : I'll be playing zotics galore in this race and will just confuse yas by writing them all. Besides - I'm getting tired of typing already. Each, or both, will be on all my tickets -> no. 4 and no. 8. Odds are 8 to 1 and 7 to 2 respectively. Just playing one or both in straight betting may be simpler for somebody who wants to play along.

8th race: WTF??? Graded race horses, Johnny V., Pletcher, King Leatherbury, Castellano, etc.:scared What the hell are ya doing, Phlly administrators? Trying to ruin this twack?? .. NO PLAY , hosses are too good.

9th race: Don't know why it happened, but I guess I just kept on trucking and wound up handicapping a NO PLAY race. Competitive , 6 horse fields are NOT playable, but I put the (wasted?) time into handicapping this race. Turns out that I'm glad I did. No. 6 made a tremendous move to mow down the leader in it's last race, has an excellent trainer in Trombetta, and is a consistent sort which is very important. Despite the fact that the last race was at Delaware Pk, this horse LUVS Philly as evidenced by it's 24 for 28 starts ITM(oola) record at Philly. I am familiar with this horse and I'll be going a little heavy on a straight bet on him. I'm pretty sure I'll find some exacta mates for him as well in the prerace. Any odds around it's M.L. of 9/2 makes this one look like a pretty good VALUE PLAY.

10th race: Contenders look like the 5,6,9.

And before I forgets.... ATTENTION K-MART SHOPPERS ---> There's a potential Philly BOMBER in the last wace today.

Now, DON'T go running to your bank to plunk down on it whatever you do. It's pps are TERRIBLE and even the jockey/trainer are TERRIBLE (that's usually good though cause thems are the types that usually drop the bomb on the po unexpected wacin fans). Horse ran once this year and did the Michael Jockson moonwalk all the way. But considering it's 20-1 morning line, that will prob. go higher, it only takes some pocket change to have a shot at this nag making your day. I'm gonna go a little bigger though. At least writing this may spark some interest. (Somebody better be interested after all the details and typing) LOL.

HAH, I almost hit the send button. Guess it'd be nice to know who this hoss is, DUH? It's no. 3, Almost Grecian. Remember, it's a POTENTIAL bomber.

Whew, that's it for today. G.L.

Jimmy, I see that you were up early for Dad's Day. Good luck today. That 8th race is a tough one. (Boxed 2,4,6,8). Going to a Father's Day BBQ and will peek in as the steaks are grillin'.

What a GREAT day this is turning out to be in MANY ways. Got online late and only got to watch replays.

Wonderful Philly Park is handing out green gifts today too.... Soooo generous of them with that 9th race zacta.... man, only 6 horses, favorites run IN ORDER, I tripled up with that particular combo (wheeled 6 top/bot and got extras on the 6/2 and 2/6 jobbie of course (only $6 worth, but I'm happy with that)... and Philly came through with some kinda payoff ($28.60).

Happy PaPa's Day to you too, PHILADELPHIA PARK.

no. 3 got scratched, online now and gonna checkem out in the finale.

Well, no. 1 was the L@@KER in the finale and I play that one ON TOP, only 1/2,5,8,9.

did you see what the ZUPPA was? Yeah, that's right.

NORMALLY, that would be the "ass-burner" of the day, but NUTHIN could burn me today :)

Absolutely wonderful day weather wise (should be beautiful in the patio to eat back there a little later), a little company, Philly, EVERYthing.

Good day to reflect on what little or much we have and know that many good folks have very little.

Gotta help in the kitchen now.

Looks like the place is deserted. I'll post only a couple in this thread for now just in case somebody does show up today............

Gonna post the Longshot picks real quick like:

5th race : Turf racing ain't my thing but this race looks playable. No. 8, Ms. N. Tarsia, doesn't have the class as the others but it sure looks like she'll be doing some serious running in the late stages of this race no matter what. The figure horses in this race show a lot of problems in their past performances and that should boost Tarsia's chances. That is, LONG LAYOFFS and consistent layoffs and that ain't good. There are some other serious problems with most of them too (I won't get into that cause it's too much to write to myself). At her M.L. of 15-1, I'll take a shot with MizTarsia.

Other race where I give a longshot a chance is the 8th race . There's two in there that I'm gonna check out in the prerace... nos. 5 and 8. Thems not super long odds but 5-1 and 8-1 are good enough for me.

G.L. whatever you may be up to today.

A NEW MJer... thanks for stopping in CF.

Briefly - not having a good day and now stuck trying to beat an "unbeatable" one (no. 4) in the last race.

Looking for "L@@KERS" .... gotta go.

Well, I did peg the right contenders... BUT thems (2 of 4 I marked) ran great but didn't win :(
At least they gave their all; no. 1 woulda made a nice winnah for me.

Actually, the hoss I "knew" would win.. did, dangit.

Do I have to post the other losing bets (2 other races besides the posted ones)? er.. NAH! Only good news was the return of bets on horses that scratched.

This AIN'T a joke
There was a hoss from the 9th race today that, I think, bears watching. it's....

811697FB5F6B4291B30648CCA5BCA926.ashx

(hint - hims a tennis player)

This one only wants turf racing and, after watching the 9th race I can see why. If this gelding sticks around here (prob. won't cause they keep shipping it all up and down the east coast, Sheesh) it's a play on the turf only.

Nice to see a new MJ hossplayer (an old Peeper?). Either way, do stop in again CF. I'm sure there will be some good pickings from one of the posters in this forum.
