Are ya ready for some hoss wacin ♫ ♪ ♪ ♫ Sunday afternoon hoss wacin ♫ ♫ ♪
(can ya believe in just a little over 2 mos., we'll be back to NFL footsball action?)
Hamstrer, for sure I hope, Sportsaholic, Hogman, Koz, Peepers, and certainly any MJer I may have left out. Let's see if we can getem today.
(er, NO, I ain't a pothead or a dwinkin man, just in a good mood that's all)
I'm ready. Card looks a little better today.
6th race: This is one of them races where I feel ABSOLUTELY certain that at least one of two horses will hit the zacta and both would be no surprise. Neither one is the favorite too. I still can not believe that I felt this way about 2 horses in one race last week, both got bet down from ~5-1 morning line and BOTH ran out of the moola. I was stunned and paid the price of being wrong in that race too.
OK, sorry bout the commentary, the horses are no. 3, Awesome Arcino, and the no. 4, Whoville. I'll be shooting for trifectas: 3/1,4,6/1,4,6 and 4/1,3,6/1,3,6 . Whoville may get bet down, but a trifecta is a trifecta.
7th race : I'll be playing zotics galore in this race and will just confuse yas by writing them all. Besides - I'm getting tired of typing already. Each, or both, will be on all my tickets -> no. 4 and no. 8. Odds are 8 to 1 and 7 to 2 respectively. Just playing one or both in straight betting may be simpler for somebody who wants to play along.
8th race: WTF??? Graded race horses, Johnny V., Pletcher, King Leatherbury, Castellano, etc.:scared What the hell are ya doing, Phlly administrators?
Trying to ruin this twack?? .. NO PLAY , hosses are too good.
9th race: Don't know why it happened, but I guess I just kept on trucking and wound up handicapping a NO PLAY race. Competitive , 6 horse fields are NOT playable, but I put the (wasted?) time into handicapping this race. Turns out that I'm glad I did. No. 6 made a tremendous move to mow down the leader in it's last race, has an excellent trainer in Trombetta, and is a consistent sort which is very important. Despite the fact that the last race was at Delaware Pk, this horse LUVS Philly as evidenced by it's 24 for 28 starts ITM(oola) record at Philly. I am familiar with this horse and I'll be going a little heavy on a straight bet on him. I'm pretty sure I'll find some exacta mates for him as well in the prerace. Any odds around it's M.L. of 9/2 makes this one look like a pretty good VALUE PLAY.
10th race: Contenders look like the 5,6,9.
And before I forgets.... ATTENTION K-MART SHOPPERS ---> There's a potential Philly BOMBER in the last wace today.
Now, DON'T go running to your bank to plunk down on it whatever you do. It's pps are TERRIBLE and even the jockey/trainer are TERRIBLE (that's usually good though cause thems are the types that usually drop the bomb on the po unexpected wacin fans). Horse ran once this year and did the Michael Jockson moonwalk all the way. But considering it's 20-1 morning line, that will prob. go higher, it only takes some pocket change to have a shot at this nag making your day. I'm gonna go a little bigger though. At least writing this may spark some interest. (Somebody better be interested after all the details and typing) LOL.
HAH, I almost hit the send button. Guess it'd be nice to know who this hoss is, DUH? It's no. 3, Almost Grecian. Remember, it's a POTENTIAL bomber.
Whew, that's it for today. G.L.
