You tip 15 to 20% for good or exceptional service no matter what the bill is and these Hollywood morons and rich athletes that do not pay just shows what kind of people they are.

The funny thing is we have a certain % of our population that listen to these morons when they talk politics what a fucking laugh that is.

This from a guy who's political views mirror Sarah Palins and Michelle Bachmans :mj07: :mj07: :mj07:

UNBELEIVABLE reading this crap from someone who says they were in the industry.

Bucs your right, spend your money the way you see fit, but your so far off base in this thread, it would behove you to STFU.

I owned and operated restaurants for over 25 years and I can tell you every aspect of a thriving food establishment works their asses off.

The front and the back of the house are equally pushed to the limits.

I'll take a good/great wait staff anyday, before almost anything, it's your first and lasting impression to your customers and to sell them short is just absurd.

While we all get to make our own decisions in life and business.. you mention how you want a great wait staff working for you above anything else.

If they're so great, why aren't you paying them more instead of having to rely on your customers to pay their wages for them? If you get too many non-tipping customers in, your great wait staff is going to leave.

makes you wonder, if waiters/waitresses work so damn hard, why don't they make higher wages? it's just loop hole bullshit for restaurants to make a killing paying low wages all around

isn`t that the way the restaurant biz works?....who pays waiters big money?...who can afford to?
