Why would Toronto be favored here? Not much on baseball capping. Any input would be great. Looks like sox would be the play?

Jays are looking at .500 as a big deal.

They have lost 5 straight, so they need the W today to finish 81-81.

There is a lot of optimism around the Blue Jays for next year, and I think they guys want to finish the year on a positive note.

Morrow has been solid his last few starts as well.

Homer play, but I really like Toronto today.

GL.

Morrow can be really streaky and he's been dynamite past 2, vs Rays and yanks. He's also had much better numbers on the road this year.

One caveat on jays todays. Morrow gets way more outs by fly ball than by ground ball and the wind is supposed to blowing out fairly strong to right field, which is obviously even more of a benefit to any lefties in the order. This stat is true, in general, but it's interesting to note that Morrow has gotten only one double-play grounder all season--that in his last start. Also, while his last 2 have been beauties, the 5 starts before that he surrendered 10 homers in 25.2 innings.

Good chance of rain, for whatever that's worth.
