I dont know if any of you know Smashmouth but I won the Ncca pool he ran. To make a long story short, he was supposed to send me the money over a month ago. since then his email has been turned off and I havent gotten any other word from him.

Feeling like I got scamed!

Know him just a little....and that doesnt seem like something he'd do. Maybe he's going through some tough personal times or something and forgot to send it

Thats what I heard from him way back and he said that he was going to send it and I never got anything. The Tourny was what 3 months ago. Just wierd that his email doesnt work and I havent gotten anything.

TOTAL BS I was in that pool along with a few other's I know on this site. "...tough personal times or something...", the $$$ wasn't his and I don't think he forgot.:bsflag

What are you BADTOBONER.....a complete friggin retard? I mean seriously, it doenst take much more than the brain capacity of a fruit fly to see that I was not speaking of knowledge of the pool itself.....but of what my opinion was of Smashmouth as a human being. I was merely presenting another possible alternative as to why he didnt get his money. That guy was never anything but helpful and cordial towards me, so I was attempting to at least give him the benefit of the doubt.

Pull your head out of your ass and see things for what their worth.

I guess the world takes stupid people to make it go 'round as well.

Sorry you havent received your money mush. You may be right, I have no idea. But Smash I know has been a member of this site for a good long while....and has quite a few friends on here. Just was trying to say it didnt seem like he'd do that because he could never show his face here again. Hope it works out for you and you get what ya deserve.

I know he has been here for a while and that is why I entered the pool. I trusted him and I hope there is a reason behind this. I figured that posting this here maybe someone who knows him will pass it along. I have waited because I know he had problems but he did say they were over and it is now the middle of June and nothing. I didnt want to do this but what else is there? I know there where 2 others who won. Grama and someone else I cant remember maybe they can let me know if they got paid.

Maybe he's just waiting for all the welchers to pony up the entry fee so u can get a little more cash. I think he'll pay too, but that does seem like a long time to wait. However, the post did say family medical crisis. Hopefully his family member is not too sick. Hope u get paid.

Almost 3 months. You run a pool you take the risk. Better have money to cover any dead beats. Or you dont run the pool till all money is in hand. But this BS is dead wrong.

Smash posted during the tourney that not all entries were paid. Open to the first 50 and he had so many requests he had 2 pools winner take all that paid. Mush won fair and square and your "human being" pal hasn't been to "helpful and cordial" to Mush. Kiss my :moon:

You or any one else who entered Smash's pool knows how this thread originally started, back on March 15,2003, by MJ himself, General Discussion. Should have been a clue to all of us trusting Smash. Sorry you did not end up with my points. I think I still have his address somewhere and an e-mail , have Jack give you my e-mail. TOTAL BS. The points were not his for his crisis, TOTAL BS.

Yeah, if you are the person who decides to run the pool, you are obligated to cover if a few people don't send their entry fee. You don't keep the winner of the pool hanging or use any type of excuse not to pay...I don't care what it is. Anybody can find 10 minutes in there day to mail a check.

Again, I said I know Smashmouth very little, but what I did know it didnt seem like he'd do something like this. I was only trying to infer that maybe he'd still get his money. I had no idea that some half-wit looking for an argument would come in and denounce my post as bullshit. The post used nothing but the word "maybe." Are you really that stupid? Did you need an argument that badly? If you want to keep attacking my posts, fine. Just dont be surprised when I call you on the fact that youre not bright enough to understand what I was saying.

The fact that mush doesnt have his money isnt right. But the fact that you attacked me out of nowhere isnt right either.

How about mush, he got screwed! You stated you knew Smash, I thought I knew Smash, the same with mush. We entered into the pool and everyone lost ...but Smash. Total BS.

I don't want to argue with you or anyone else on this forum. mush got mashed. Almost 3 months after the tourney ends and mush doesn't have the points is total BS.

Got home late last night, clicked on ,saw the BS thread and I went off on Smash and you You know him? If he has my points and others I know, why have they not been forwarded to mush?

Smash tried to start his pool at 50 points and I said I was in , not enough takers, lowered it to 25, still in , then suckered everyone in at 10 points and scr*wed us all in the pool.

mush, you got the small scale 'Nigerian Scam' .

Okay BADTOBONEY (And I still think you arent the sharpest knife in the drawer).......I tried to explain at least twice how it wasnt right that the man hasnt got his money yet. I didnt jump in this whole thing looking to back Smash. Can you see at least that much? I just said I somewhat knew him and that didnt seem like him. My problem was when you jumped my sh*t for a post that was not derogatory in any way. I've said at least twice thats its not right mush didnt get paid. Hell, I would have brought it out in the forum as well if I were him. Maybe sooner. But damn man.....theres no reason to jump all over me for merely saying that didnt seem like Smash.

Like I posted earlier I don't want to argue with you. You didn't steal my points from mush, Smash did. Have you checked out the thread by MJ, from March, BS Happening on my site... I know how to sharpen a blade, on a stone or a machine.
