Lots of thing point to this line being right there at 189:

-Ave. points for both is 190

-Ave. points against both is 189

Last 5 games:

Dal ave. 101.4
NO ave. 85.6

However, the Hornets poor point production can be explained by who they played in last 5:

SA, Min, Mil, Hou and SA again.....all but Mil are teams that can keep you low scoring

-On the road Mavs ave. 98

-At home NO ave. 90.5

My feeling is that NO plays hard at home and will match the Mav's scoring tonight. Tough loss for the Mav's last night.....so they look to rebound and might even be a bit tired after Friday's game.

I see scoring at a good enough clip to get over the 189 total for the game.

One other point I had in my notes.....

One other point I had in my notes.....

These two have played twice this season:

-In OKC on 11/12 with a 212 total

-In Dal on 12/3 with a 180 total

However, before the game on 12/3 you could make the case it was a tired Hornets team after 3 road games....back home for one against Philly.....then turn around and go to Dallas the next evening.

Hoping for a game like on 11/12 to play out tonight with a "fresher" Hornets team at home. ez

Don't really understand why the total is 189.
The only thing I can figure is Avery will have them
play better D than they did last night. Avery finally
has all the players for the first time this year so fatigue is proably not an issue
I played the over last night, but I think the under is the play today.
JMO, don't know if this helps

X....

X....

I'm hoping fatigue isn't a problem with the Mavs and as far as Avery's defense......it stunk last night and likely won't be much better this evening.

Too many shooters and no "Big Bens" on this Mavrick team.

We'll see....it should be interesting which way the flow of this one goes. Home Hornet support has been great so they should get out and run.....just hope Mason (only hitting 20% of his jumpers) gets layups......he's been a real disappointment so far.

GL to you X! ez
