Texas/Texas tech over 146.5



Texas is a pretty predictable team. They can play great defense. In games against teams like Okie and Okie State....they tend to really bear down and concentrate on letting Ford set up the offense and take good shots. This causes the totals for these games to go low scoring. When Texas plays an inferior opponant, or an opponant that likes to run up and down the court....they scrap the half court gameplan and let Ford run the floor in transition all night. You see high scoring games like the TX/Kansas game this year (90-87) Texas Tech likes to run the court, so Texas will let them.....and since this one is at Texas, I view Tech as an inferior opponant. The line of 8.5 is too low, and I like the Longhorns to blow Tech out of the water. Texas should put up 85-90 in this one.

Adding Colorado St +1

This game fits my new system which weighs each individual teams home court advantage. (Obviously you cant just add 4 points to EVERY team) New Mexico has a tiny home court advantage. It barely scrapes the surface. Colorado St being on the road brings about a 2.56 point penalty, and the New Mexico home court advantage is only worth .67 points. So the game being played at New Mexico should only affect the line by 3 points. Colorado St is not a bad team at all....definatly more than 3 points better than this team. We are catching a point here as well.

Should be an easy win here for Colorado St!!!
