thought i would tell you that i am also from gods country!!!!!!! charles city, iowa class of 1979

go comets where are you and redsfan from and what year did you both graduate i knew most of the athletes from iowa in 78,79,80 and most colleges from that era!!!! I was a baseball player, but a couple of the hawkeyes football players were very good friends of mine. you may remember lonny oljanzak. te and punter. and nose guard on rose bowl team dave brown, and there punter in 81-84 reggie roby from east waterloo broke my high school strikeout record in 1980. hope you guys are from my era, would be neat to talk to you both. hawkeye, as I've stated before, you are an absolute stud - congrats on another stellar season and gl with today's card

did you decide to make a play against your squad today? been trying to pull the trigger on the +18 all week but something just doesn't sit right, maybe the fact that it is Senior Day is bothering me, not sure - just seems like way too many points

thanks in advance for your input - LA Burns

Liking Pur and the pts--agree with Redsfann--run the hell out of Green get a good lead (I hope) and then let the seniors who do not play alot play. They need this one to get a better bwl game as I think they can beat Minn next week. GL--I am just lucky no skill

Par like thel ine drop--oneof the SMU QB's is hurt but will play-the guy who played last week instead will start and can throw the ball well-weather is good there
Baylor-not much of a drop-no inj and weather good--stick with them and take the lower #

Harley-Thanks for the input-I am sticking with the over--gut feeling-Ala owes MSt-weather should not be that big of a factor-if MSt can score 10 I think it is an over--GL

Sorry Arrow--somehow I mssed this post--A Hawkeyee living in Minn?? Hope we can beat them next week
1st I am not an Iowa graduate. Played baseball at Ellsworth JC then Mankato St
2nd I am a lot older than you-but Redsfann should be close.
3rd. My hometown is Radcliffe-Go Cardinals-30 miles north of Ames-in fact my mom still lives there and my brother lives in Mt Vernon.

Graduated from High School here in Davenport in 1983 and then from Iowa in both '87 and '91, Arrow, so a little younger than you.
Chuck Long, Ronnie Harmon and Co were at Iowa when I was an Undergrad. Hayden Fry was in the middle of his run as Head Coach and the football team was usually playing in a bowl game-went out to the '86 Rose Bowl...:(
