I was curious, so I looked something up this morning. Before this season, there was a lot of talk from media pundits about how the new foul rules would affect the college basketball game, and a lot of people hypothesized that with all the fouls, games would be going over the total a lot this season. It is interesting to note that in the last eight college basketball seasons, this season has produced the most games percentage wise that have gone under the total to date. Of the 2625 games that didn't push with a posted total, 53.75% of these games have gone under the total. For a bettor paying standard -110 juice, this would put them up 75.6 units on the year. Of course, one would never advise betting on all 2625 games, but interesting to note anyway.
