Golfer Phil Mickelson in USA TODAY Fri Jan 24, 2003

'It's a tough call, but I like Tampa. I think the guy who put in that offense in Oakland should know how to shut it down. I think he's got the skill and talented defense to stop Oakland.'

I'm ridin' in Phil's cart.........TAMPA BAY, ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!:Yep:

Phil has been known to play a game or two at the Vegas Books. I think he did have the Pats on a money line wager last Super Bowl. I've slept since then but I think he was a 500K to a 800K winner last year. PGA came down on him after giving odds in the locker room that a tour player in sudden death would hole out... I think he made the golf shot and Phil won the money like he will again this weekend!!!!! :thumb:

There is a sudden hush at the Phoenix Open as it comes to a close as Phil Mickelson and BADTODABONE are seen leaving together in a golf cart headed west out of Phoeenix towards Las Vegas. BADTODABONE was overheard saying "Let's get in the over winners line!"

Not exactly sure of the numbers but they go something like this...

Michelson had $20,000 on the Ravens to win the Super Bowl as a prop bet prior to the season at 18-1. Winner: $360,000.

One year later he puts $30,000 on the Diamondbacks to win the World Series as a prop bet prior to the season at I think it was 11-1 but I am not sure. WInner: $300,000.

My math and memory may be off slightly but I do believe Phil's winnings on both plays exceeded $600,000!

Money goes to money baby!
