I was not lumping you in, I guess I just don't get the point. They argue over there opinions which are totally skewed by there bias towards there conference. Scott, no need to reply, have fun with your meaningless banter.

Are you looking for winners in the NCAA Pigskins forum in JUNE? If so, here is some helpful information:
1. The season doesn't start for another two and a half months. Check back then genius.
2. there = their (shows possession)

Saw this regarding the Toughest Conferences according to Phil Steele. I know many posters here at MJ's value his opinion including me. Thought some of you might get a kick out his 2004 conference rankings.

2004

1.Pac 10
2.Big 12
3.SEC
4.ACC
5.Big 10
6.Mt.West
7.CUSA
8.Big East
9.WAC
10.MAC

Steele does his ratings based upon...
Eliminating 1AA wins
Counting 1AA loses
Power Ratings of the Top 3 teams per conference

Note: The Pac 10 according to Steele was the top conference in Power Ratings through teams 1-8.

Would be even more compelling if he added OOC records for the last 5 year period.

I wonder what criteria most of you use? My guess is focusing on elite teams and not whole conf., top 25 rankings and # of wins! :)

Phil Steele also had Alabama on his list of teams that could go undefeated! End of story. :mj07:
