Had Washington laying 1.5 in the 2nd game tonight for a nice payout (+170)

Washington has left 11 runners through 9 innings... St. Louis 3 runners...

Yea, I know this happens all the time... but here's the kicker...

Washington was up 7-0 in this game (it is now 8-8).

St. Louis had given up and:

1. They let their pitcher (rookie) bat with 2 out and 2 men on in the 4th inning.. 2 run double...

2. They again let their relief pitcher (again a rookie) bat with 2 men on, 2 out in the 6th (still down 8-3).. and hit a 3 run HR.

So, St Louis was begging to give away this 2nd game of the DH... were down 7-0... but their pitchers have accounted for 5 RBI....

3. Then 8-6 with 2 out in the 9th.....but the "closer" for Washington gives up a 3B to Skip Schumaker of all people with 2 out.. and then a single and we are in extra innings...

This is BY FAR the worst loss I've ever taken in baseball.

I've never seen a team try sooo hard to lose, but an equally crappy team in Washington let them in the game and will probably let them win.

They certainly will not win by 2 anymore - even though this was over early....

blah blah blah

final score is 6 to 5 and i lose

and my favorite nba

had the mavs on the moneyline vs the lakers a few years ago

mavs are up like 28 points going into the 4th quarter

they lose and it did not even go into overtime

That's the risk we all take when we put our $$ on so called "bad" teams....WAS in this case. It's always interesting until the very last pitch no matter the score...I've learned my lesson too. Get'm next time bud...sorry for your loss.

I LOVE IZZY! Washington still wins!:00hour

This is the exact reason I don't lay 1.5 runs in baseball... way too many one run games.

By the way, had Mavericks in that game vs. Lakers a few years ago. I was at a bar and saw the score and counted the game a winner starting the 4th. I checked the score again at the end and couldn't believe it... probably one of my worse losses ever.

Normally I don't either. It was a bet against Parisi for StL.

I had the right side too.... even with the pitchers driving in 5, I had a 2 run lead with 2 out in the 9th.....

Oh well......

I thought the game was over when Pujols struck out. However, it's never over until the Fat Lady starts singing. Feel very lucky to get the win after St. Louis took the lead. I did feel confident when Izzy came in the game... arguably the worst closer in the game right now.

Ummm.... Izzy has been on the DL for over 2 weeks now.....

Ryan Franklin was pitching - and he hadn't blown a save yet (until tonight) - and had a 3 up, 3 down save in the 1st game today....
