I don't think they will come out in this game like last night, Also think denver will have trouble having 2 good games in a row away from home.

Good luck fletcher. Off topic, but where in the world is there any blackjack worth playing in Vegas these days? Last time I was there in mid Jan I just played poker.

Read this info at another site? Any truth to Uconn benching several starters at tip because of recent play?

Not that I have seen. No-way Jim would pull that when they need to win out to be able to dance. He is almost out of there, he is tired and wants to end on a good note so he would not take that type of action for so called poor play.

QUOTE TO NOTE: ?The team that you saw at the end will be the team that starts Tuesday. That?s the team I like, because they worked. They came back and played basketball like Connecticut plays basketball. ? They had plenty of chances to win that game after someone had handed them a (13)-point deficit.??Connecticut coach Jim Calhoun to the Hartford Courant, indicating that Jerome Dyson, Gavin Edwards and Stanley Robinson would be coming off the bench to start the Big East Tournament.

another article about it

http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/c...kies_as_uconn_hangs_on_tournament_bubble.html

That sense of anxiety for the perennial NCAA Tournament participant may explain the Hall of Fame coach announcing he would not start any of his seniors when the 12th-seeded Huskies play an equally desperate, 13th-seeded St. John's team Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the first round.

"Coach's decision," he said following a brutal 75-68 loss at South Florida on Saturday.

With an NCAA bid on the line, Calhoun is making a desperate attempt to wake up three of his four top players - forward Stanley Robinson, guard Jerome Dyson and center Gavin Edwards.

If they respond, it's a huge plus that could get him enough wins at the Garden to give him a shot at a NCAA berth. If he loses them because of a rash decision, this season could go down as one of the most disappointing of the Calhoun era.

That's great. Thanks guys. Trackers said nothing about this. Will just do a halftime if he screws up the 1st half by a stupid coaching move. will be great if it pays off but as a coach i nver found my team to play better if I had to bench 1-2 guys on a starting 9 let alone 3 starters on a 5 man lin-up.
