Furyk to win 10-1 low odds, but liked how he finished last week:

I also liked him over Choi for 72 holes but now he's -160 and I don't like him that much.

72 holes:

Perry -140 ov Scott
Pampling -110 ov Clark
Hoffman +105 ov Watney
Choi ov Stricker -110

Kresge -105 over Parker Mclachin

Parker has struggled this year and is awful in ball striking stats. Kresge had a nice first couple days in PR and was 5th in GIR's there. He went to college in florida while Parker has shown a history of struggles in the state. Parkers twitter said hes been going through some swing changes, and also spent all of last week skiing.

Trahan -105 over Quiros

Trahan was #1 in GIR's last week and is basically leading all ball striking stats on tour this year. Quiros is a bomber, probably the longest guy in the field..
Quiros is not sure what to expect this week on a tight course at Innisbrook.

"If I hit it straight, this will be fun," he said, pausing to smile. "If I hit it straight."

The rough is up. Look for a lot of doubles out of this cat.

Round 1 plays (1pt):

Charles Howell to beat J.B. Holmes -120 @ Five Dimes
Howell has shot the lower 1st round four times out of five this year and has finished ahead of Holmes every time on this course, so he should do so again this week.

Jonathan Byrd to beat Scott Piercy -120 @ Five Dimes
Tough to go against the in-form Piercy, but Byrd showed a welcome return to form in the Puerto Rico Open last week and this will he his 7th straight year at this event - his worst finish has been 44th and he has had top-10 finishes in two of the last three years. This is a ball-striker's course that clearly suits Byrd, while Piercy is making his debut.

Vaughn Taylor to beat Tim Herron -105 @ Five Dimes
Taylor has a good record here apart from last year and has finished ahead of Herron in four of their last five events. He should be favourite in this matchup so is worth a shot at these odds.

Rod Pampling to beat Tim Clark -115 @ Five Dimes
Backing Pampling to prevail on this course. He has played here five times and finished in the top-10 on three of those occasions. A top-10 finish last week is also encouraging.

Dean Wilson to beat Bubba Watson -105 @ Five Dimes
Looking to oppose Watson this week. He was very poor in the CA Championship last week and has made the cut just once in three attempts around this course; it does not suit his power game.

Outrights:

On the fly; didn't even get a a look at or a wager down for Madeira, where Van De Velde delivered huge for me in the past.
Was thinking of McGrane and Luna, followed by maybe Haeggman and ? ? ?

David Toms(33/1) e.w.
Sean O'Hair(20/1) e.w.
Ben Crane(50/1) e.w.
Jeff Klauk(100/1) e.w.
Tim Clark(33/1) e.w.

- - It sure seems Toms' class, form and intangibles are all being underrated; if Crane is, "playing better than I have ever played", I think that synopsis is even more strongly applicable to the defending champ; Klauk should give another decent performance; I'm pretty sure a swerve would have been a better call given the price on Clark.

Really liked all of these picks, especially Crane (who was my pick to win). GL
