Now as far as "trickle down". Here's a little chart which happens to be from Michigan. Look at it, what do you see? Yep, the rich have gotten richer, the poor have gotten poorer, and the middle has taken it in the ass. Trickle Down has turned out to be Trickle Up.

You really should try to smarten up. I realize it's a big challenge for you to grasp simple facts, Maybe you can get your wife or some fifth-grader to explain this complicated stuff to you.

And BTW, you said on the forum that your wife is of a different race than you. You're Caucasoid, right? So what is she, Negroid or Mongoloid?

Have to admit that here in California that part of what widens the gap is the unreal prices of real estate. From what I understand that, more so then taxes, is why Toyota decided to move to Texas. I think the only way to resolve this would be the repealing of Prop 13 (property taxes) but that will never happen. Property would still go up here because of the places like Sata Barbara, San Diego, San Rafael, etc etc etc are just great places in general but higher property taxes in my opinion would slow down the obscene spurts. Then maybe with that increased revenue they can stop increasing the sales tax which hurts everyday commerce.
