On the course!
Every now and again, I sweep my computer system to see if I have any viruses in there.

Usually none, but I had 8 today. (First check in a couple of months.)

I check/scan/and remove them using a free site, and it is preety simple.

If you go to Trend Micro and use their House Call, it is free.

Might save you some headaches down the road.

Crabs?

Crabs?

Ditto, we just found a lurking virus that was eating old files off our common drive. We were blamming one another for erasing files and discovered it was a virus.

I've heard of getting a virus form not using a Trojan....but I've never heard of a Trojan Virus...

Stop opening up attachments, dork! :p

If I get an email with an attachment, it gets trashed regardless of the source. No viruses here, and no memory hogging, computer slowing crappy antiviral software.

how does an email open automatically??

No CWD in Kentucky or Indiana, good news there. I hear they are killing all the deer in Wisconsin because they might have it. What a joke.

I open the email, and an attatchment pops open without any promting.

I'm no computer guru, but that's what happens.

Step 1: I open my mailbox

Step 2: I see mail in my inbox

Step 3: I open the mail

Now, I never click on the attachment, if there is one, so what gives?

Are you saying that I can't even open the mail in general? That would suck!
