Good info? To each his own. Like I care what happened in 1998. Troy wasn't playing 1-A ball in 1998 so you're telling me since 1998 North Texas has only been a home favorite 16 times and even though Troy has only been a full fledged member of 1-A since 2002 they have been away dogs 23 times. Sounds suspect to me. Not to mention the seniors on these teams were sophmores in High School in 1998. Oh and by the way, North Texas actually had a defense in 2003 when they won 21-0. One of their scores was a blocked punt, and they outgained Troy by a mighty 57 yards and were plus 3 in turnovers. But then again probably 90% of those kids are selling cars someplace right now. Trends such as Home favorites off a loss of 88 points or more playing a foe off a road win of 77 points or more cover at 72% of the time, MAY have some value, but people that drag out ATS trends for two specific teams that run across decades really make me wonder.

Wasn't questioning the Troy State numbers. And I'm not saying the stats aren't correct. I just think it is very suspect that North Texas has only been a home favorite 16 times since 1998 seeing how they've been home favorites almost every game the last two years. So yes they play well at home, and yes they were alot better than the Sun Belt the last two years. And what it tells me is the linemaker didn't catch up with them in 2003. And when they started off getting whacked out of conference last year the linesmakers overreacted. So let's see if they are overreacting this year, or if North Texas is really down this year.
