He's an American that bought a gun legally and slaughtered innocent Americans. Unless we can change the ways to get guns (which is a non-starter) or deport disenfranchised people(which is expensive), this is our reality.

I think that we're all just trying to convey thoughts and ideas and in the days of auto-correct, I wouldn't expect perfection. I would think that the bottom one is correct, but I don't think the question is serious unless there's more than one definition of serious. Maybe you meant "sincere".

Okay, sincere. I've posted recently where that rule(?) came into play and I wasn't sure. I think they are both correct but I'm not looking it up.
