tonight_1-0-1

still looking at bradley/wright state, i'm back and forth with it. made some money with the MarketMaker on the Oregon/Sac. St. game... :-D won't be playing it; know nothing about sac. st... if i did, i might be able to take the 32, but it looks like it will just be the valpo+st. mary's plays for now.

good luck, guys!

i think st. mary's wins this one SU, leading from the beginning, those aussies are awesome and the salukis have not played the suffocating D they've been known for in the past.

i would not play oregon -32, that is just too many points. to add to what i said in my post: i'm gonna look at sac. state to see if i can find soemthing to give me a play at +32. i rarely lay over 24-25 points and that's only on the best teams... oregon is not one of those teams this year. a 25-point lead at home means that subs get in and backdoor covers come in easy when those subs run the entire shot clock and miss a few shots.

i've played valpo several times already this year and they've yet to disappoint. as i looked back, i missed their two games over t-giving wknd, i've played the other 5 and they've won ATS in all of them, i first played them getting 12.5 at vandy. :) i think they'll put some more money in my pocket tonight.

okay... this is weird: st. mary's +3.0 is up to +129 (so.ill. -135) on matchbook and valpo -12.5 is up to +113 (evans -119)... there's no injuries reported, neither is the original opening line and there's nothing to report on that i can find anywhere. just thought i'd share. it's uncommon that sides get even 30 points apart, not to mention 64!! now there is sometimes huge disparities but it's when the line is getting hammered and the matchbook marketmaker has yet to put up an adjusted line so the odds have to adjust the price in lieu of the spread.

it seems like MJ's split so far on this game... me? i'm on st. mary's all the way, i'll play them to a pick at -110.

anyone else play at matchbook or have any thoughts or noticing anything at other books?

I agree about Oregon. Just seems too many points.

I believe this is St Mary's first road game. Hope it doesn't effect them.

it is their first true road game, but home court alone doesnt win you all those games. i bought back most of my bet at -3.0 and am taking the 4.5! i may take sac. st. +32 come 9:00 or 9:30 depending on how valpo and st. m's are doing.

just added bradley as a play... really like all my plays tonight. love having a small board and having the time to examine all the games so closely, plus the discussion on here is so concentrated it's a great help getting every possible angle on each game. good luck!

^ to answer your first question.

i don't track units because i don't think it's necessary. everyone on here knows how everyone's doing over the long haul.

the dollar amounts could be units... they are roughly when i post them. it's how i rank my plays against one another. today i'm pretty confident with my plays hence the 20ish unit total. i make plays from $1 on up--$12 being the strongest so far this year. i try to keep 100-150 units in my account to give you an idea of what i'm spreading.

fyi... i didn't make sac. st. a play... i just said i can't give 32 points here. good luck. go ducks! i made a unit on that game using the MarketMarker on matchbook. :)

tailin' Box on UCF... have them winning by 14 and when i saw the line last night it was borderline... it went up, still borderline and at 13 it was a no play, but with box on it at -12, i'll invest a little in it with him on valpo, as well. :00hour go knights!
