Thought I would go ahead and post this in case anyone is interested. The over at Char really appeals to me but I have good reason to believe I'd better leave it alone and find another play.

I mentioned yesterday that I capped both games. I didn't post it but I came up with a score of 98-89 at Cle. I notice that Meija nailed it. I also came up with 85-84 in NJ. Not bad on the Hou part but off a mile on NJ. Now the reason I mention this is because even tho I didn't play the game it will be worth my time to figure out why I was so far off on NJ or was it just one of those fluky things that happens in the NBA. I put a W on my total at the end of 3 then sat for a minute and a half needing a basket and wasn't sure I was going to get it. I remember one game last year where I thought I had a winner and they went 5 min without scoring and I came up 1 point under. Shit happens in the NBA but I still love cappin it. Utah's defence is 42.2 vs Bobcats 47.4

I don't play favs on the moneyline unless I put them in a par.

Be very careful playing any overs today. Last Tues was the only day this year where, when there were more than three games, the under prevailed (8-3).

i haven't been betting or capping NBA at all , i prefer NHL, but under these circumstances we will not see NHL this year so i thought maybe little NBA capping could help me find something new on NHL too.

in nhl i have picked a few teams that i follow closely, usually a top 5-8 teams and try to pick their away wins and loosing strikes.
now there is charlotte that is a new team and i thought it would be easier spot to me try to follow them, of course i can do it only through statistics and news without seeing them play.

new teams ( or teams that have stepped up one level in leagues, like in soccer ) have some habits like loosing a lot of games , but even better, they have tendencies for loosing in strikes and not winning too many games in a row. when looking closer on these strikes after they win a game then have maybe 1-2 close games before they collapse totally to win again in some point. usually these collapsing points are secured over games too.

following this thinking tonights game shouldn't be a close one, i think that Utah is too solid perfomer to loose so Bobcats will loose this and hit rock bottom in next 1-3 games. no matter against who or where they play. of course season is in early stages and Bobcats are new and unpredictable team so let's not jump in conclusion too fast but wait and see how they do.

and when comparing half time/full time results this looked better to me

only problem with these combined loosing overs is does charlotte score enough points, but so far they have done decent job and i'm looking forward to this trend to continue.

just my 2 cents why i took that first half bet.

are you saying that with the exception of one night, when there have been more than 3 games on the card, that the UNDER has always been the majority of the games?

No, I'm saying just the opposite. In response to Lowell in yesterday's thread I pointed out that in the first 7 days the over was 32-15 and that last Tues the under was 8-3 and still the over finished that week at 27-23. I would be careful until I see what happens tonight. Good luck
