My top play got another push yesterday. That's o-1-2 in the last 3 days after going 19-1. Here's what I show today.

Dayton -3
Ari St + 7'

Also show Pit - 9 but it's a little weak.

Can Vandy win at Ill? The answer is yes. Will they win? Truth is, I don't know. I do know that if Ill gets down 23 they won't win. I don't think Tisdale can stay with Ogilvy and there's no one on the Ill team that can stay with Taylor. Now if Stallings sits Taylor on the bench for 8 min when he's just scored 10 points like he did against DePaul anything might happen. How do you sit your teams leading scorer on the bench with 1 foul for 8 min in a tight game? Then you have to worry about Walker. He's the other forward, the teams leading rebounder and if need be, can score. He's shooting 60% on the season and they are not all dunks. Jenkins hurt his ankel early in the DePaul game but didn't tell Stallings until after the game. Stalling got so frustrated with the way he was playing that he pulled him and set him on the end of the bench away from everyone. He's a tough kid and I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the game tonight. He practiced yesterday. If Ogilvy remembers that games have first halves also, Vandy just might pull this one out.

How can Kansas who has played no one and is not even ranked in the rpi be #1? How can Vandy who has played the second toughest schedule and only lost 1 game be #25 in one pole and not even in the other one? Texas has the same win/loss record as Kan, has played the fourth toughest schedule and is #2. See why I don't pay much attention to the polls

Good luck everyone

Not to bust your balls...

Not to bust your balls...

but isn't the RPI / strength of schedule BASED on the Polls??? :00x10

But I agree with what you're saying.... KANSAS hasn't played anyone yet, so TEXAS should be ranked ahead of them.... in time, but at least they have a tournament in BB to settle it...

precisely why you and everyone else should ignore them

cbb polls are good for TV so they can pimp some "Top 25 teams"

cbb polls are good for playing the unranked fave over a ranked team angle

and that's about it.

much like college football, the polls are worthless until late in the season. even moreso in cbb since they have more games/time to move up and down to their rightful position
