ODU -6.5 over ECU ****
Think ODU is a much better team then the Pirates.ECU has played no one..wins over NC-Green,Fayetteville,Lenior-Ry,SC -Upstate,Erskine.They split with Charlotte....ODU has beaten Richmond,XU and Clemson..they did get beat by Delaware on Saturday but that is a wake up call.ODU can rebound..last yr they were 3rd in the nation,this yr up there....Hassell is their big 6'9 scorer and rebounder.They have 3 other starters that avg 4 or 5 bds a game.They play tough defense that will give ECU problems scoring.I think Delaware is a pretty good team that caught the Monarchs napping...think they get a double digit win @ ECU...
Rutgers -18 over Marist ***
Foxes have won 2 in a row vs Niagara and Canisius.They packed the zone in and played decent defense.Griffs and Purple couldn't shoot.But Foxes lost starting center Kemp to a broken wrist on Sunday.Prescott,Hall are all frosh and sophs.Think they have a tough time at the RAC.RU has beaten Fairfield the best team in the MAAC and Miami by 15.Coburn and Beatty are athletic gds and Nites front line of Mitchell,Biruta,Miller and Johnson are all 6'7 and 6'8.Think they control the bds and can score vs the 2-3 Fox zone.
Johnnies -14 over the Bonnies **
Bonnies have Nicholson but they lost to Cansius by 10 and 18 to Clev St...Johnnies have to many players and not enough basketballs...think the 3 gds Kennedy,Hardy and Horne are quick.Throw in 5'9 Boothe and 5'11 Stith...Inside they have Brownlee their best player and Polee will be a superstar.Burell is still there...seems like he's 27 yrs old..but at 6'8 244 he can bang...
