--mets have been coming on at 7-3 their past 10 and at 3.5 back might be believing
that they can compete for the East--not a stretch as I'm not sold on the Braves,
Marlins and (certainly) not the Nats; Wheeler has the goods and is starting to show
it some while Arrieta is a tough call though he showed little while with Balt; BP's
comparable, overall, so I'm splitting up my 1st5/game action
--13 of the 16 games (81.25%) that the Rox have won at home have been by multiple
runs which has been consistent most seasons; DLRosa is hot and I still think that
Mr.Anderson is due to leave the Matrix at any time and pick up his first L; neither
BP great and ariz has the better O numbers lately but Rox have been on an extended
road trip which is usually bad news for them...often first game back from a road
trip can see struggles but more likely if road trip was good but Rox went 2-7 on
recent swing
--Sanchez has been pitching very well (though 5.48 era vs in 4, w.1.52 whip) but Hutchison,
despite a poor outting in last vs tb, is consistently bringing the goods, has good
numbers in 7 road starts (1.04 whip, 10-39 BB-K, 3-1, team 5-2 in 7) and this will
be the first time Det has seen him; Tigers O doesn't scare me for this matchup as
jaysticks lead them in virtually every offensive category (incl.HR--jays 82 to
Det 53, and strong wind projected out to left for this match) while 7-day numbers see
jays OPS of .908, scoring 7.5 per game and Det at .617, scoring 3.3 per game; Jays
got their closer back in action but neither BP can really be trusted so, again,
splitting this action up 1st5 & game
