Valpo -11 surely? NIU blows....played the over as Valpo teams have never been a team to play lock down defense overall

thanks for your response on the Detroit game, reaffirmed my thoughts on it. It went up to 5 pretty easily so I figured I might get more but went the other way. Also like that under and will tail you on that.

GL today and enjoy the Temple/Kent game.

Observations from Kent State. The Flashes are going to take their lumps this season. They re young and may improve but right now that can't stay in front of anybody and are pretty soft inside. they may be competitive in the MAC but OUand Akron are far better.

Temple looked good. Great ball movement, crisp and fast. Scootie Randall may be one of the best freshmen I see all year. Just an outstanding performance from a guy playing his first college game. The Owls look to be a force in the A10 once again.

FYI Scootie Randall is a SR. I wondered what happened to that guy after I watched him torch Xavier one day and then in the A10 and NCAA tourney he was nowhere to be found and that was 2 years ago I think. Anyway I turn the game on today and there he is... had I known he was back playing there would have been no doubt where my $$ went.

Shows how much attention to the other conferences I pay. I thought I recognized the name but in the Kent St program they had him listed as a freshman from Philly.

Thaks for setting me straight, no wonder he was so damn good.

results : a sizzling 1-8 (-7.9)

if I may be blatently honest, this is not quite the start to the season that I desired. If anybody has been fading me I extend my heartiest congratulations :0074 I often ponder over the fact that keeping track of 20 teams should not be difficult but right now I am simply lost.:sadwave:

You know what? Thanks for posting your record and being honest. It's frustrating at times when people don't post a record and you have no idea who is hot and who is not. I'm sure this has been talked about before, but I just thought I'd say thanks for posting plays and keeping an honest record! :0074

start of season is tricky. one thing for sure though, I watched the game this morning and NIU is fucking terrible. they couldn't score 60 points throwing basketballs into a swimming pool.

LvTheDogs--you make a good point-one that has been discussed before--I only follow/look at people who post records-you can always count on FCP being up front. GL he'll bounce back. Following 20 teams is tuff. I was looking at doing dogs and totals this year (usually do totals only) for somehting different . It eneded up being/doing to muich so I am back to only posting totals the area I like the best.

I also would like to say thanks for sharing your thoughts and expertise and taking the time to keep a record, FCP.

I don't pay any attention to any handicapper here that does not either have informative writeups or keeps a detailed record. It is foolish to tail anyone like that. You don't know it they are just taking a shot or if they are way ahead or way behind for the year. Plus it is way easier to make selections with no accountability. Many of these guys would quit if they kept a record.

good luck for the remainder of the season and better days are coming!
