Boston is clearly the better team here however their bullpen is morelike bull sh/te instead of a pen. They did manage to beat the Rays 3 of 4 and Orioles, but was that really a challenge. Toranto looking for their first home win still after being swept by the yanks. I think they get it here. Wheather they fall behind or take an early lead, Jays were able to put some runs on the board against a dominate Yanks pen so they should have enough offense for a comeback victory if needed against a horrible Boston pen. Lowe Bostons pitcher for today has allowed 26 runs, 57 hits, and struck out 35 and walked 16 in 46.2 innings of work. Hendrickson ha allowed 0 runs two hits, h struck out 1 and walked 2, in only 5 innings of work.

I don't like either team. D'Rays are consisted of players that all the other teams got rid of, and Orioles look like their starting to rebuild the team. They managed to take a game from Boston but the D'Rays seem like a fisty little team that never say Die! Parque has a successfull career aganst the O's while Daal hasn't faired too well. Parque is 4-0 lifetime against the O's. Daal is 0-1 and let up 9 runs on 8 hits in 4.1 innings pitched. Both teams offenses aren't too superb and neither is their pitching. Orioles do hold a 20-18 record over D'Rays in two years and have gone 10-9 at Tropicana field. This is a new D'Rays team w/ Piniella as Manager. I don't think he lets up a loss today against the O's. Parque continues to dominate and We Miss Lou's Tantrums for today though.

Rangers have the talent to win on any given day. Unfortunatly they don't win on any day. Oakland is the team to beat this year and it looks like there playing with something to prove. Oakland took three in a row from the last years Champs, and Texas took one of three, Barry Zito should have no problem handling this for some odd reason weak Texas team. Zito is 7-0 against the Rangers w/ a 3.01 ERA in 11 starts, he's struck out 74 in 71 2/3 innings pitched.

The yankees are starting out HOT, and of course look like playoff bound this year unless the injury bug bites like it did last year. Yankees are coming off a 3 game series with D'Rays while taking 2 of those three. The twins are coming off a three game sweep at home to the Blue Jays a team that the Yanks swept in the opening of the season series. Andy Pettite will take the ball today, he held the Blue Jays scoreless in his first outing of the 2003 season. Jay Mays defeated the Detroit Tigers in his first outing. Mays has not been too good against the yankees with a 1-4 career record and 4.28ERA in 8 starts. Yankees outscored the Twins last season 41-23 and swept them in 6 games last year. Yanks are 8-4 in 2 years against the Twins and 5-1 at Yankee stadium. Yankees clearly look better in this matchup. I don't see to much offense unless there is plenty of erroes which may happen due to the Slush left over and the wet grounds from this exiting April Snow! Due to the weather I won't take my chances on the RL and the ML is way to rich for me. I'll take the UNDER and hope Twins continue their woeful offense and Yankees don't beat them to bad.

Two superb pitchers on the mound today leads to a low scoring game. Should be up to the offense to get that 1 extra one across for the victory provinding both pitchers continue their dominace. If Mets win I'm willing to say they win by more than 1 run and the offense came to somwhat alive tonight against this rookie Left Hander. The mets usually don't fair to well against Leftiesbut neither do the Marlins. Mike Piazza is the only one who hits lefties hard. You will probably see Tony Clark in again for Mo Vaugn. I say we stick with statistics and take the UNDER. I won't play if it's anything less than 8.5 for future refences. Mets opponets are usually good for at least 3-4 runs and in a win Mets by at least 4-5 So I'll take the UDER until those Mets bats come alive. 4-6 GAMES have gone UNDER.
