YTD 34-19, +29.8 units

Thanks for the kudos, guys. Already 3/5 way to my goal for this season, and more than doubled my bankroll for 4% per unit play. But if you think this start is impressive, wait until you see my inevitable losing streak, and there will probably be a few of them. Anyways, hope I stay hot for a few more days..........

2 very strong plays today, IMHO.

Mont ML-145 x2
Minn ML-145 x2
Really like these 2, and wanted to make these 3 units. But ended up going with 2 units, since it's still early in the year.

Mont -.5 -110 x1.5
Minn -.5 -110 x1.5
Pho ML-105 x1.5
Car +.5 -110x1.5
Cal/Min Under5.5 -110 x1.5

Gotta run, BEST OF LUCK TODAY!!

Just got back. Sure, mugs. FWIW.....

A 3-1-1 team on the road vs a home win-less team and getting +130 back?? Looks too easy, right?? Several angles were involved in my decision.

With all these penalties being handed out early in the season, I thought there would be an added advantage to look into the penalty department. Mont is 2nd in the league in least PIM, Pitt 12th, especially important in that Mont is 2nd to last in PK. It also helps to know that Pitt has not done that well on PP, converting 17%. Theodore is back in goal, who last year vs Pitt was 4-0, with .50GAA, and 98.3 save %, a huge reason why Mont was 5-0 vs Pitt last yr., and also has covered 10 of the last 12 meeting. Pitt, at 3-1-1, really caught some teams in bad spots. They beat Tor in a short revenge game, tied TB who was playing back to back, beat Atl (whoopee! :D ), and beat a crappy NYR playing back to back. Mont, IMHO is still a very good team, and will be hungry for that 1st home win. Mont has a lot more incentives to win this game than Pitt by far. Possible look ahead for Pitt, too, who'll be @Det on Friday.

Good luck:toast:

I can't go along with you on Montreal (Mont even worse on PP [7%] than Pitt, and I'm not convinced the Canadiens aren't better with Hackett in goal rather than Theodore), but since I'm not taking Pitt, I wish you the best of luck. Lots of folks on this board will make money if you're right, so I hope I'm wrong.

ddubs - thanks for your time and write up. I see many taking the Habs along with you so I wish you all the best of luck. I'm passing on it and sticking with Minny over Calgary. May look into the Edm/Col game a little more but I think I'm sticking with my one play.
