YTD 81-67, +33.025 Units

Record is counting SJ as a loss. But with these Rangers, you never know, though. BIG PLAY on Tuesday.

Since I use an aggresive money management system in pucks, each unit = 4% bankroll. This is as big as I play in pucks. But please play within your means, as everyone knows there're no LOCKS in any sports.

Minny -.5-110 x4

Following the lead of DMcStiffen and Chenker. Not much to say about Edm, as they're in a real tailspin and playing 4th in 5 nites. Get this play in early if you like it. It will for sure jump as the day goes on. A little bit of revenge for Minny, and a lot more to prove as well. The Oilers were 4-0-1-0 in five games versus the Wild in 2001-02 and outscored Minnesota 14-8. Edmonton leads the all-time series against the Wild 8-0-2-0. Markannen played his 2nd consecutive game vs Bos, so Salo should be back in goal, who's anything but stellar so far. Roloson should be back in goal for Minny, since Fernandez played vs Anaheim.
Minny PP 18.8%, Edm 14.8%. Minny PK 87.8%, Edm 83.6%

BEST OF LUCK EVERYONE!!

I'm not sure if this midnite capping stuff is good for my bankroll. I keep finding plays to wager on. The more I look at this one the more I like it.

Canuckles ML+110 x3
St.Loo has been hot, but the only quality win they have is the Dallas Stars (Canes, CBJ, Oilers, Flames, Preds, Islanders, Rangers, Habs, Leafs). Local news website states Barrasso will be in net. Don't understand how in the world he could be in top form, playing his 1st game, on the road, vs. the Vanc team who's had 3 quality wins in last 4 games, all on the road vs. Minn, Col, and Pho. The only concern I have is that this will be their 1st home game after the road trip. But Vanc last 2 years are 8-3 in 1st home game following road trips of 3 or more, and 2 of the 3 losses were following 6 game road trips. Cloutier also has been outstanding. Gotta love this home doggy situation.

Going to bed before I blow anymore bankroll. Won't be around 'til late afternoon.

GOOD LUCK TUESDAY!!

Blues give Barrasso 1st start
By Derrick Goold

Blues goaltender Tom Barrasso says practice can't duplicate the intensity of an NHL game.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - With a freshly painted mask to reflect his need for speed, goalie Tom Barrasso will make his first start with the Blues tonight against Vancouver after a deliberate two weeks of preparation.

"I'm as ready as I'm going to be to get in a game," Barrasso said. "It's pretty difficult to simulate what occurs in a game during practice, as much as you try. It's just not the same. This is the first step toward getting back in the game and playing the way I can."

Coach Joel Quenneville's choice to start Barrasso, although holding true to the goalie's two-week timetable for being ready for his first start, is a departure from last season's win-and-stay-in rotation between Fred Brathwaite and Brent Johnson.

But not much about the Blues' goaltending has been predictable.

Barrasso, making his 772nd NHL appearance, will be the fifth goalie used by the Blues this season, tying a franchise record. The other four - including three rookies - have all won. Brathwaite leads the team with a 6-2-1 record. By starting Barrasso, Quenneville sets up a schedule for back-to-back games Friday and Saturday in Alberta.

Barrasso probably will start two games this week. Brathwaite possibly will get his usual start against his former team, Calgary, on Saturday.

"We like what he's been doing in practice so let's see how he does in a game," Quenneville said. "You can really only see so much in practice. We like his approach. We like how he sees and reads the play. ... But we've got to get him to play a little sometime."

Barrasso, 32 victories shy of 400, inherits a team that has gone unbeaten in 11 of its previous 12 games and is undefeated (5-0-0) on the road this season. He faces a Canucks squad that, well, hasn't been delighting the home folks.

The Canucks are 1-4-2 at General Motor Place. The home power play loiters near the bottom of the league with six goals on 45 chances. Captain Markus Naslund has scored none of his team-high eight goals at home. Naslund and teammate Todd Bertuzzi were stacked behind league-leader Jarome Iginla in points last season.

Tonight's game will be the first since a riot at GM Place when a Guns 'N Roses concert was canceled Thursday, reportedly because front man Axl Rose couldn't make it to Vancouver.

I really like the KINGS tonight in this situation. After the shutout loss in Montreal the other night Coach Murray will have his boys ready to play tonight!
I expect a big game from getting "Ziggy" with it Palffy! Really like the other plays on your card as well! I am on them all! I think the Canuckleheads get a much needed win at home. Good luck my friend! $$$$

Thanks, guys. Good luck to you all.

Still got the itchy finger today. But since this season has gone well so far for me, I figured I can afford to let loose tonite.:p These might be good fades, though, my add-ons more often than not are LOSERS.

Sens -.5+105 x1.5
Horns' thread has all the info you want. Sens only has 1 tie this yr, so taking the puckline for value.

Habs ML+120 x1.5
Liked the Habs last nite, but couldn't do it since Dallas is clearly the better team. Now that Tuggnutt is in for Turco, I feel there's enough edge for the Habs to win one at home. And good value line too.

And adding .25 unit on Vanc (avoid the 3 unit jinx)
:p
