Fascinating article here analyzing first time starters' money record when betting them (one today) and their second start too (Roach and Haren today).

Keeping on this Willis kid until he falters

Rueter got hit bad last week at STL as they took out their loser frustration on him. He'll rebound as he usually does (he shutout Colo at home after they drubbed him on road, for ex). Not to mention SF is 4-0 vs STL at home last three seasons in his starts (1.65 era in those games).

AT hitting lots of overs of late, and over is 28-13 vs losing teams. Reynolds/Roach just sounds like an over anyway! But ump is on a 7 game under streak (with a push in there), so.....

almost took Bost/Toro over. 17 of last 24 times teams met here it went over. And they batting better now! but afraid of pitcher duel that could go deep and keep these awful pens out...

TX batting well now, certainly enuf go get wins for Mounce and his fine pitching against this badly sliding MN team and pitcher.

for fun parlay: SF, AT, TX, Sea and Oak (1 unit wins 9.23)

Went 3-3 last posting (sunday), -0.42 units.

That takes it to +7.52 units overall (164-148-3).

all (but one two unit so far) flat bet 1 unit risk per pic (for example, a +135 pic would pay 1.35 units, a -135 pic would pay 0.74 units).

for fun parlay pics: 1-13 (-11.79)

any comments?

good luck all!!

I've been touting Willis as a stud all year long.....
along with vargas (MONT), WEBB (ARIZONA), HORATIO RAMIREZ(ATLANTA), and one or two others that escape me at this moment.

maybe i'll start posting a section on them in my thread....

good luck tonite.
