under 4.5 TB/MTL +101
under 5 SJ/Calg -132
over 5 NYR/Tor -130 (thegreek)
parlay: NJ ml and STL ml (1 unit wins 0.99)
Netminders at MTL game have come around. Calg has opened up last few games vs other open-scoring teams--I don't see this continuing tonight with defensive TB. All four meetings last season went under. TB hitting unders like crazy.
Calg has got contributions of late by bluelines in open scoring games, don't see that continuing vs defensive SJ. Calg under 9-0 this season when a fave, 39-19 last 3 seasons. Netminders here (assuming Kipper and Toskala) old buddies and will try harder than usual to outdo each other.
I expect netminders to be bit sharper at Toro, so taking the over with these big scoring teams on the 5 line at Oly. Over 5.5 line has hit 15-5 last 20 meetings at Toro.
WA sure looks juicy at +155 at NYI with that huge winning trend there and NYI play of late. but one consistent thing about WA play this season is poor and losing efforts after each win.
Ashbury Park Press had this today concerning NJ Thurs:
"Martin Brodeur could use a rest, although it doesn't show on the ice. Brodeur was sharp on the second half of the trip, allowing just three goals against Dallas and Colorado. With Corey Schwab injured and Scott Clemmensen his replacement on the road, Devils coach Pat Burns opted to play Brodeur in all four games. If he's healthy, Schwab could be a possibility for Thursday's game against Washington. "
2-1 <a href="http://www.madjacksports.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=123221"> Last Post</a> (Wed) +0.89.....and spoke of taking Dall+100 and Pitt +201 and didn't do it!
that takes it to -7.94 for the season (26-32-4). Uggh! working on that...
all flat bet 1 unit risk per pic (for example, a +135 pic would pay 1.35 units, a -135 pic would pay 0.74 units).
except one winning 2 unit pic (-102)
no chalk over -170
parlay pics: 3-7 (had mistake in this w/l record last few postings), -4.04
any comments?
good luck to all!
