With the Sabres out of the playoff race, Lindy Ruff and Buffalo management is taking a close look at some of their players.
?At this point we are giving players a chance to play an elevated role,? said Ruff. ?Brian Campbell is one of those players. We are very pleased with his play. He has gained confidence, is making good decisions, and is very involved offensively. So we are using players that we probably wouldn?t use in a different scenario.?
