Kansas City area for who knows how long....
Went 2-1 on those big dogs yesterday. In hurry. Update records later....

under 9 Pitt/Hous -111

TX +103

Cleve +188

parlay: AT and Cubbies (1 unit pays 1.11)

see Renata's thread for that under.

Halladay has 9.6 era at TX last three seasons, his team going 0-3.
And he's not been as sharp as Lewis this season, who will want to get back at Tor for his loss last week.

Can't ignore Washburns rotten record at home vs Cleve, 7.23 era last three season, with team going 0-3---at Cleve Anaheim is 4-0 in his starts, with Washy era less than 2 in that stretch! Jekyll and Hyde. And again, the Cleve pitcher has been better this season, and they usually do well in rematch to team lost to last week.

I like Hampton getting pumped vs his former team, besides he has held batters to .140 last 2 starts and the Colo pitcher suck and team sucks on road.

any comments?

good luck all!

What would scare me here is that the Rockies are batting .325 and averaging 7.5 runs vs Lefties this year. You would think ATL would win this vs. Cook but the Colorado's line-up is just too scary for me.

I hear you on Washburn, but he has been pitching much better. To compare what he has done the last 3 seasons vs Cleveland is a little skewed as this Cleveland is oceans away from being compared to the team the last 3 years. PLUS check out these stats:

CLe is 4-11 on the road.
CLE is 2-8 overall in game two of a series.
CLE is 2-7 in Rodriguez's last nine starts.
Anaheim is 7-1 in the past eight meetings.

Washburn pitched 8 innings and allowed just 2 earned runs on only 5 hits. He will be pitching tonight on 6 days rest. (first time for that) Ricardo Rodriguez gave up 6 runs in just 5 innings work in a 10-1 loss to the Angels a week ago.

Not trying to persuade one way or the other just info that I thought may help....
