I wrote this yesterday and lost it before I could post so I will try again.
If you have been watching the games that I have been watching, you know there are some really bad teams playing in the east. A 11 point qt cost a lot of people their over in Bos the other day. How can a play-off team score 11 points in a qt? Should Char have lost their game or should Orl have won? Either way they both tried to give it away. NJ will squander a lead and let people back in the game and that will be their downfall. Ind just don't have the talent. Reggie looked like his old self last night and they still lost big. That brings us to my pick to win the east.

Det is the only team to totally dominate their game from buzzer to buzzer. Somebody commented about how bad Tor is and how much they missed Carter. How short a memory do we have? Tor finished 12-2 with wins over 4 of the play-off teams, ( Ind, Char, Phil, and NJ) without Carter. Someone also commented that Det wins ugly and can't score. Take the SA game out of their last six and they ave over 110. Only Sac ave more their last six but Sac gave up 110+ while Det held their opponents to less than 100. They held Tor to 9 points (that's 2 less than 11) in the first qt their last game. In my opinion, they are the most solid team in the east. They frustrate you with their d and if you want to play run and gun they can can score right with you. What they did to Mil was ridiculous and it appears they might keep it up. They also seem to be peaking at the right time. Ben Wallace is the difference. Against Tor he had 19 points, 20 boards, 3 blocks, 3 steals, 1 assist, and (this is impressive with these numbers), only 1 foul. I looked to see if this was a fluke and found that even tho he don't reach these numbers all the time he has stepped his game up. In his last 4 games he has ave 15 points, 15 boards, almost 4 blocks (this is for the season) and don't seem to pick up fouls. Unless someone gets hurt, I go with Det in the east.

Be back after a while with a play or two.

Joe if ya get a chance i'd like to hear your thoughts on the Orl/Char Total. For some starnge reason i see this one going over. Every book out there has dropped the backline to 186. EXCEPT for 1 very sharp Hoops book which has the line still at 187.5.

I think i might follow this tip as well. Seems everyone is all over this Under tonite.

Orlando has played 'OVER' in 14 of their L15 playoff games after played 'UNDER' the previous game. The Magic has played 'OVER' in 21 of their L28 road games when playing off three straight losses and seeking revenge.

Like Sac and over but so do most people and the line on the total is falling.

4-0 so far and am very leary about tonight. Going with

Char o 186
Sac - 10'

Tony, in order for Orl to have a chance they have to play their game which is to push the tempo. Miller will play tonight even if he is hurt and Orl plays more up-tempo when he is available.

Good luck everyone
