The teamsters side is who's side we are on:mj06: I remember when that went down it was my 2nd year out here. they don't want to get on teamsters and umw wrong side when they are in the tri-state area, good way to get killed.

Hope all is well for you did you get your ws tickets yet? better not wait to long.

Hell 3 days rest is way over blowen, in college come playoff time everyone goes to a 3 man rotation and they throw over 150 oitches at times , they can do same things in the pros come playoff that is all i would run is a 3 man rotation, same way with your close hell he can go 2 innings every game if they are tied or winning in 8 and tied in 9th or on, this shit about they need that much rest is bs, hell back when i was in grade school and jr high in 70's the pitchers would throw into the 120's -130's and be able to come back in 3 days saw it 2 times with pittsburgh in was when they beat balt. to win their 2 ws rings in the 70's , each year they did it at home at 3 rivers, 3 days rest is more then enough and cc can do it he is a big strong guy,lot of pitchers like to throw they don't like all that rest, the more you throw the stronger the arm gets. pitchers are cuddled to much in the mid 90's on and that is why it is a fight to get past the 5 innings, use to be unless they were getting shelled they would go 7 8 innings and 1 guy to close the deal. not 5 pitchers in a game. and the weather is good which will help him out, he will be fine.

If you look at the numbers on pitchers throwing on three days rest in the playoffs the last 15-20 years you will find it is impossible to refute the fact that pitching on three days rest is "over blown."

That said, as an Angels fan, I'd sure as hell rather be facing Chad Gaudin tonight than CC. So the Yanks are making the right move in my opinion.

GL tonight.

like i said i don't buy that 3 day off shit once it is playoff time, they talk about it just to get hype, when it is playoff time the mental part of the game can get you past the physical part, guys would throw starters back to back days a inning on day after they started if they had to and could do it , and 3rd day your throwing a BP session for 35-45 pitches real pitches that does not cover warm up that is 35-45 full out , and day before you throw a tune up, it is bs on 3 days rest your looking to get 5 innings 5 good 6 tops.

The point should also be made that c.c. is not your run of the mill pitcher physique wise. He is built like a HORSE. 3 days rest will not affect him in the same way.... I do love the announcers making a big deal about it.
