It's not near as easy as you think.

Hell Miss St had a tough time with Ole Miss on Saturday. And as for Miss St on the road this year.Look at a few drubbings they have gotten.

Yep.TN and LSU both also beat MSU.

MSU has won a total of 2 SEC road games. That was at UGA and Ole Miss.2 terrible teams.

Gamblingfool why would you not care how ARK plays at home?? The game is in Arkansas lol.

Earlier you were bragging about your exagerated betting record challenging people to fade your losing lock and what a great capper you are. Then you're talking shit calling the other guy a rookie in your other thread?
You don't even cap your own games do you??

I have to say, I like MSU here as well. 3-0 ATS and they won their last year by 7. Arkansas is 3-11 ATS vs conf oppts. if the line goes up to about 5 or so, I would grab it, that has some preety good value. GL with whatever you play.

First off, here are the reasons I won't play for or against my beloved Hogs :nono:

If they win as a favorite and don't cover, it taints the joy. :mj16: If they lose as a dog and don't cover, I am doubly pissed. :cursin:

Here is the reason I would play them:
Arkansas wants revenge for the embarrassment dealt them in Starkville. It is a game that most people who listened to it would say that was not called fairly as the Bulldogs shot about 20-30 more free throws than the Hogs.

Here is the other reason why I would not play them:
Arkansas struggled to beat Tennessee at home in their last game when favored by 10. Also, it seems that the best way to beat this Hog team is to play a 2-3 zone. Teams have used it in the last few games to really frustrate the Hog offense. They tend to pass around the perimeter and look tentative. Without a true point guard, they lack someone with the ability to penetrate and collapse the zone allowing for a kick out. They have a couple of good big men, but the guards don't seem to have figured out how to get the ball inside to them.

I won't play the game, only enjoy getting to watch a national game for once, but I would go against them if I did.

I'm liking the Under

Ark av 6 blocks per game at home. Arkansas? 144 blocked shots are the 10th-most in a season in school history. Arkansas (.293) and MSU (.310) are the top three-point defensive field goal percentage teams in the SEC.

from the interview with Ark's coach ...
?Transition is a key. We have to get back. We have to attack the basket and be aggressive. We are a totally different team than the first time we played, but we have to play very good basketball.?

Neutralizing Mississippi State?s rebounding ability ? Mississippi State leads the SEC in rebound margin at plus-8.8 per game ? and cutting off fast breaks will be critical, Heath said.

After getting out-rebounded in its first five SEC games, Arkansas has won the battle of the boards in seven of its last nine games. The Razorbacks have gone from a -8.0 rebounding margin in the first five league games to a +2.9 in the last nine.

Don't think Miss St is going to get 39 attempts from the FT line again

Ark revenging a blowout loss vs opponent of 20 points or more is 0/5 O/U

Ark won't let Miss St get out to that dominating lead. Miss St coming off their 20th win. Ark rebounding much better now, less fouling and second chance points. Their only senior may get more playing time since coming back from an injury. Two good three point defenses. Don't think we'll see as many free throws, scoring with the clock off, as we did in the 1st matchup. Each team competant at blocking the others shots as well as good three point D. I think Ark knows it shouldn't get into a scoring duel with the Bulldogs. Late season intensity in a matchup that both teams may have been looking forward to during their last game a couple days ago.
