these are the ones that i eliminate without looking into too much and the ones i'll be looking at closer. my 'step 1' of handicapping.
MIL--the better team with the better pitcher facing a team with 6+ losses in a row. worth digging into.
phi/pit--eliminated. can't see laying the wood on phi on the road vs. a team that has been playing much better ball lately. not even going to look at this game.
mon/nym--eliminated. definitely can't back the mets at -150+ and can't take the spos in this spot either. not worth a look.
fla/atl--possible play on fla plus the money with the better pitcher and winning 4 in a row.
col/hou--nothing off the top of my head. have to dig into a little more.
cub/stl--eliminated. can't back stl at -170 and the cubs are my jinx team, especially on the road.
sf/sd--possible play on sf but need to take a closer look.
ari/lad--eliminated. forget it. won't even look.
nyy/det--can't back either team but gonna take a close look at a possible over.
tor/bal--eliminated. not laying -150 on the o's and can't back a team off 3 straight losses.
min/cle--eliminated. can't handicap 2 teams that are losing like this. forget it for me.
bos/tb--eliminated. can't back tb at all and hate to play the knuckler. not wasting my time on this one.
kc/cws--possible play on the sox. need to take a closer look.
ana/tex--possible play on ana. need to dig deeper.
sea/oak--eliminated. is sea going to go into a tail spin? not even gonna look at this one either.
