Season Overall 11-11-2 (-0.25 units)
Big East Plays 4-4-1 (+0.5 units)

Favs 4-3-1 (+1.1 units)
Dogs 2-4 (-2.95 units)
Overs 4-2-1 (+2.8 units)
Unders 1-2 (-1.2 units)

Today?s Plays

USF -2.5 ? 3 Units ? Gransberry returns and will power USF to a victory over a Buffalo team that is challenged on the boards. The USF Bulls have lost their last 8 dating back to last year and are hungry to get off the schnide. USF beat Buffalo last year by 16 last year w/o Gransberry.

Vandy -4.5 ? 2 Units ? another dreaded road fav, but still think it?s a good bet. Toledo doesn?t rebound or shoot the 3 well enough to be able to play with Vandy. I was impressed with the way Vandy was able to easily handle a good Austin Peay team in their first game.

Probably will have a few more later.

Adding:

Xavier -4.5 ? 2 Units ? something about road fav?s against MAC opponents that I really like today. Xavier is the far superior team here and gets the job done on the road. Miami was merely average in their two exhibition games and will open the season with a loss at home tonight.

Weber St. -4 ? 2 Units ? Weber State had a ton of turnovers that lead to their loss last night. I think they will correct those tonight and easily handle a Youngstown State team that is actually worse than their 31 point loss to UCLA indicates.

S. Bama +11 ? 1 Unit ? I expect the Rebels to be a good team this year, but South Alabama is a good Sun Belt team that will turn some heads when people see what they can do, even against decent competition. I expect a close game in this one as the Jaguars will play with a lot of intensity looking for the upset.

1 more play tonight:

UCLA/UCSB Under 135.5 - 2 Units - On the UCLA under again. UCLA had trouble turning the ball over last night, as did Youngstown leading to a lot more points than expected. UCLA will take better care of the ball tonight. UC San Bernardino pressed Weber State last night, and I don't foresee them doing that against the Bruins leading to a smaller total.
