1 unit....detroit (+130) over kansas city
1 unit....cleveland (+1.5) (-110) over chicago
1 unit....seattle (-135) over anaheim
1 unit....san diego (+180) over san francisco
(add) 1 unit....cubs/expos under 6.5 (+100)
detroit.....tigers might be lame, but kansas city as a road chalk with affeldt is freakin ridiculous. tigers arent hitting the ball obviously, but their young pitching is doing a good job of keeping them basically in every game...ill buy that kansas city is playing with confidence, but if someone can possibly make a case for kansas city as a 130 road chalk with someone like affeldt- id love to hear it...even if this one loses, theres tons of value in detroit
cleveland run-line...im just really high on rodriguez..this kid has the potential to be really damn good...great command, has no shame throwing inside, and has good stuff...when colon was in cleveland he ALWAYS b1tched about how he couldnt get loose in the cold...well its gonna be cold as hell on tuesday...indians bats have been asleep the entire regular season...so rodriguez could lose a 3-1 type game, but i think colon wont have his best stuff, given his track record in cold weather
seattle....moyer looked good for 4 innings in oakland in the opener...and then got freakin hammered...i think this is a good bounce back spot for him...really just think that the marines will find a way to win their home opener, and at less than 7/5, they seem worth the price
padres....we all have pitchers we just really like....and everytime i see peavy throw, he impresses me...hes young, but he has a chance to be special as well...he was freakin unhittable vs the dodgers last outing, fanning 11 i believe...giants are playing great right now, but peavy is a really live dog at +180...moss didnt have to make the switch from AL to NL or anything, but still feel like he'll have some first start jitters at pac bell...klesko being back helps a pads lineup in need of a boost
