YTD 1-3 [-2.05]
Got four on the slate for today:
CHICAGO WHITE SOX (-145) Westbrook was 0-4 with a 5.13 ERA last season versus the ChiSox, and Cleveland lost every game he started versus them.
LOS ANGELES DODGERS (+115) Although in the bullpen for much of the time, Smoltz has not earned a "W" versus the Dodgers since 1999. Penny pitched pretty well at Dodger Stadium last year is 7-4 career against the Braves. Looking for LA to bounce back after yesterday's loss when they fell behind early.
NEW YORK YANKEES (+100) Mussina 3-0 with a 2.83 ERA L5 versus the A's, Yanks are 9-3 in last 12 @ McAfee and although Harden seems to be the fashionable pick for Cy Young status this year, this could be a tough match-up for him, as he was 0-2 with a 6.10 ERA LY vs. NYY. A's likely to be without SS Crosby as well after an incident to his hand yesterday trying to steal second base.
PITTSBURGH PIRATES (+145) Santos did not get much respect last year with the Brewers, but I think he tries to make a statement today versus his former club. His ERA last year prior to the All Star break was also very solid, so I am looking for another strong break from the gate this year. Capuano is rounding into form for the Brewers after a successful year in 2005, but the Pirates did seem to have his number.
Good Luck today Guys.
