"You never count your money, when you're sittin' at the table......" BECAUSE THE DAMN METS TOOK IT ALL ON YOU..... :cursin: (sorry, more plagerism Doc, but this is getting kinda fun) The Gambler delivered on his promise, but unfortunately Glavine did not have his best stuff Monday night. Oh well, just nice not to lose for the night. ;)

Gonna play one for Tuesday before I hit the hay......

CHICAGO WHITE SOX (-144) Well, Freddy Garcia has got one debut under his belt, but now makes his debut in a White Sox uniform at US Cellular field when Chicago tries to end a three game skid while facing the Angels at home. I think that Garcia will be a little more relaxed this time out than his last start at the Metrodome, where he was making his debut with the club. I also like the fact that Freddy has pretty much owned Anaheim in his career (10-2, 2.48 ERA in 130+ IP) and must feel much more confident now with an offense behind him. Contrast this to the career numbers of John Lackey versus the White Sox (0-2 with an ERA of 11) and that fact that this line-up lit him up like, well, the Fourth of July, on the 30th of May of this year (3 IP, 9 H, 8 ER).

Leaning towards the Mets/Phils under, and the Mariners (I hate even saying that), but I'm gonna do a bit more snooping around (when I'm supposed to be working on Tuesday if I can) and see how things play out before making a move on these ones.

Talk to everybody Tuesday......

Good Luck,

Sharky

Good luck Sharky --- Freddy's pretty solid in the clutch and lets face it he can't get less run support than he did in Seattle.

GL Sharky. Love it,Garcia finally has run support. Will alo pull the trigger on the BoSox. Enough humidity to keep that knuckle ball dancing.
Best of Luck.

Thanks a lot fellas. :)

Decided against the under in Philly....the ball has been just jumping too much there lately, and Abbott didn't get out of the fifth last night, so although the bullpen pitched well, they got used pretty good. Also not going to go against my Jays tonight, even though they struggle against Moyer (and lefties in general), as the Mariners are the worst team in baseball right now, and I can't bet on that.....

However, gonna add a small parlay for tonight:

NYY with COL/SF over 7.5 - This is a combination of two things....The Yankees own the Tigers, and Mike Mussina likes pitching against them - He is 15-4 with an ERA of 2.34 in over 180 career innings pitched against them. Jason Johnson sports a career record of 1-8 against the Yanks, but that also says as much about the Tigers ineptitude against New York than anything, as his ERA is a respectable 4.24. I really liked this game, but hated the chalk, so I am playing it with the over in San Francisco.....No heavy duty handicapping here, just followed what Blackman talked about in his thread.

1 unit / 1.72 units

Have a good night Fellas,

Sharky

Sharkey, You of all people should know your Bluejays are hitting lefties at a .328 clip and scoring 8.28 r/g, but I know how hard it is to bet on your own team. So I'll bet it for you, taking over 8 at +108..

Like Fast Freddy. I'm bucking that trend on Lackey and going low. That guy has had a solid month (2-2,3.67.120ish) since that drubbing from CWS. "Every hands a winner....and every hand's a loser... :shade: GL Tonite

PS Toronto hitting .243/.713 vs LHP at home and .269/.735 total this year. 10-18 record on the season :moon: ;)

Well, got greedy and tried to parlay the Yankees with this play and it didn't work so well.....
Just saw Blackman's play on this and thought I would put a unit down on it.
ROCKIES / GIANTS over 7.5 (-117)

Good luck on that total buddy -- Schmidt just threw 32 pitches in the first inning. No runs yet but at that pace he'll be out of here quickly.
