Cubs -104 first 5 innings. neither team can hit a ball off a tee right now. im convinced yesterday was a product of poor hitting rather than good pitching although you must give credit to dempster and eaton. nah, screw that, the bats were ice cold. lot of emotion for cubs tomorrow. prior did well in start coming off the dl last year. dusty stretches pitchers, but he will be on some kind of pitch count. cold rainy day scheduled for chicago. pitchers weather, but I'll bite on the cubs and prior for the first 5 innings. Hopefully they can claw a few runs over. Brian Giles the only Padre with marginal success against prior. No such thing as a must win baseball game in April, but you gotta think the 3-4 start isn't where they want to be and coming off a home shutout where they looked lifeless should come out ready. I'd bet the game, but I refuse to wager any money where letroy hawkins will touch a baseball in a meaningful moment.

Marlins -131 overnight line drop doesn't scare me. shouldn't be betting against the phils right now, but wolfe has been torched by these bats. Burnett pitched solid 6 innings 6ks and 2 ers in a loss to Atlanta in his first start.
Pittsburgh -104. Redmond has had his way with Benny the Brewers bats in past, if he can only stay away from Carlos Lee. Glover gonna give up his share. Decent spot for Pitt.
ANA/Tex Under 11 -105. yes its anaheim not los angeles, and yes its an under in texas. no-write up in case they score 50 runs, then i will look silly as to why i played the under.
Min/Det Undre 10.5 -115. real small play because the line is too high to begin with. That usually means stay away, but stats support the under, i just think the line stinks.
