Lean A.L., right now, as some key N.L. SP's are not 100% presently. Volquez looks like he might earn the start.
Not sure who for the A.L. but they should have an edge pitching, including the pen.

I'll like the Yanks again Wednesday--Chamberlain-Duke--if the Yanks can hit the lefty in game #1. Hoping for -140 or better for that. 1st5 will look promising for similar. Beyond Moe I'm not thrilled about the Yankspen. And Joba will need it.

anyone other than volquez starting for the nl would be a joke. after his start in the stadium this weekend how can you not give it to him.

as for the al it should be saunders who it won't be. duscherer who it won't be (how can you be 8-4 in the al with an era under 2) lee who it might be. and unfortunately it very well could be mussina with 10 wins getting the start in the last year of the stadium for the hometown team. king felix making a late bid though with a bum ankle.

it'll be interesting. too bad about the injury to marcum. the guy deserved his first trip.

Volquez scheduled to start Thursday in Toronto, vs the over-achieving Jesse Litsch. I don't get many looks at Edinson but should be fun in a couple of days. Total likely 8, at best, so the tempting under will be a pass as I think Litsch is the Jays worst SP. Reds at -120'ish would look like a steal.

AL should go with guys like Lackey and Harden, Felix if healthy, Duchsherer, Kazmir & Doc if healthy. Closers will be easy to book. Offense will look strong. No Pujols vs and what's up with Chipper right now? Out until at least Friday with an injured quad, apparently. A.L. will be favoured but by how much? Volquez-Mussina or such would keep it affordable.

Still 3 weeks away so shit could happen.
