Buffalo +10.5 over Cuse **
Bulls have lost a few games that should of won..lost to Bonnies by 11 but early on in the season lost a tough one to Cinncy by 6...Bulls are talented and should win their MAC division...they have a big time player in CJ Massin..he can do it all and could be MAC POY...Bulls avg 82 points a game so they can score but unfortunately they have to play some defense...Harris is a good shooting gd and Perkins and Smart inside and can score and rebound...Cuse is Cuse..same Boe...plays 8 or 9 weak teams all in the dome..but did beat maryland and just knocked off Georgetown in OT..they are not a very good shooting team.. Battle is a stud and pt gd Howard maybe has finally found himself..he does have 63 assists...Chuk the 7'2 giant is not an offensive threat but does have 27 blocked shots..Brissett,Dolci and Sidbe are all 6'8 and 6'9...the 2-3 zone has some bigs in the perrimeter but think CJ and gang will penetrate and score...not sure if the Bulls can win in the dome but think this is a very close game..Cuse doesn't have the scorers to put away teams that avg 80 pts a game..
USC -14 over Princeton **
Tigers played great vs Cal Poly hitting 3's from the freeway..and just started to play well...but Tigers have been beaten by GW,Miami,Lehigh,St Joe and butler by 11,18,11,13 and 10...only beat Monmouth FDU and Lafayette...Cal is loaded...Metu inside is a force..McLaughn is awesome..has 73 assists but Boatwright is ? tonite..not sure of his status with him at 6'10 and Metu at 6'11...but wait.. 6'11 Rakocevic who has awoken from the 1st 6 games is in fire scoring 13,16,10 and 11 in last 5 games..also hitting the bds with 12,10,8,etc....Tigers run the slow down motion offense so you can't have 6'10 and 6'11 guys chasing players half their size getting backdoored...they both played Lehigh..USC beat them by 23 and Tigers lost by 11...think McLau at the point is to savy and will run a good offense vs Princeton..
Smoo -21 over Cal Poly ****
If Princeton who can't score or shoot blew away Poly hitting 3's from the freeway wait until they see the Mustangs tonite at Moody...this is a "seeing eye test" game...I liked Boise +9 for a small play last nite...watched Smoo destroy them...on offense and esp on defense...total shut down...and then off the bench they bring in for the 1st time the USF transfer McMurray..last nite he became eligible...in 18 minutes he scored 16 points,5 bds and had 2 assists...and his 3's were from NBA area's...he had the crowd going...Milton,Whitt and Emelou can play some defense...Milton and Whitt are 1 and 2 in assists in the AAC...think Moddy will be rock'in tonite and Smoo coasts to a +30 win...maybe in the 90's...
Canisius -1 over Elon **
Griffs have Crumpton one of the best players in the MAAC..and Reese who is the leading scorer playing outstanding..big weakness is rebounding.. Elon can rebound but I'll take the Griffs at home..think semester break started so crowd won't be to big...when you go to school in Buffalo and its semester break..you go home..hopefully south...many of my students that I had over the years I would see at the Mall...before Christmas and they all attended Niagara,Buffalo or Canisius....still think Griffs can win this..
South Dakota St -10.5 over Drake ****
Love the Jackrabbits tonite...last yr on this same date Jacks beat Drake 83-75...Jackrabbits have one of the best players in the nation in Daum...he avgs over 20 pts,the team avgs 83 pts a game,shoots 3's 41% ranked 20th..FG% is 46...they have scored 103,99,85,99,94,and 80 and a few of those were against Buffalo,Miss Iowa etc..not all cupcakes..Drake can't play defense giving up almost 80 pts a game..FG defense is even worse...they have one solid scorer in Timmons...think Jackrabbits win big by 15-20..Daum will have +25 ..
Niagara -7 over Clev *
Think Purple who will be also playing in an empty gym has the Scott kid who should dominate..homer play..
a fw more games I really liked..Geo -.5 over GT....XU,Auburn,New Mex..maybe play a 4 team parlay and have some fun..ignore these and don't play them...
