I'm trying to do my homework early today and saw a line that I like. Maybe I'm getting suckered into this one though.

Mavs -9.5 over Clippers


I like the Mavs to roll the Clippers up pretty handily here. Clippers should be tired after an OT loss last night. Dallas should be well rested and come out firing on all cylinders. Should be a repeat of last week's game in LA. I can't see LA keeping this closer than 15. Also lean to the over, but my book doesn't have it posted yet. I have seen the over up on other sites and it is around 207 right now.

On that total.....ya might want to read Valuist's thread on an interesting trend. Like wigs said.....don't know that I'd play the under but I darn sure won't be on the over 207 tonight.

Lakers -5 (the Lakers have screwed me all year, will that "trend" continue???)

Mavericks -5.5

Warriors/Rockets 99.5

High total for the 1st half in the Rockets game, but here are a few key numbers that persuaded me. Both teams have been playing quite a few over games. 5 of last 6 over for GS and 7 of last 8 over for Houston.

Last 5 points per quarter for GS:

For Against

1st Q: 24 25.8

2nd Q: 26.6 27.8


Houston is putting up 24.2, 23.6 for and 26 and 23.4 against in their last 5 games (for the 1st half)
