Baylor -14 over Texas **
Bears were No 1 for as long as you wait at the Sonic for your order....now No.6..came back and beat KSU the other day..Texas looked good only losing by 2 to West Vir who blew away the Bears last week...but thats " apples oranges"...Texas has problems scoring,,,and think everybody looks at Bears offense.. there are ranked 10 in defense...that front line of Motley,Aciu,Matson are big and athletic,....Texas has standout frosh in Allen but he still is a puppy...Texas still has no pt gd...they can get the ball over the press but they can't penetrate on offense...BU gds Lecomte,Freeman and Wainright are good...Roach has been put at the pt for Texas the last 5 games...he has 23 assists and 16 turnovers...think with Texas offense really struggling and a good Baylor defense they can win this by 16-20 pts....

Saints have won 3 in a row...think they have awoken like I have been predicting for weeks...finally...their 3rd leading scorer has been sent home.. Clarth..he came into the game wearing jewelry and refs told him to take it off.. Pastos the coach didn't put him back in the rest of the game...after the game Pastos told him you might be avg 12 pts a game but your shooting too much and you play no defense...so today the announcement is Clareth has taken a personal leave and will not play tonite...Saints have Wright at the pt,Bip,Ogun,Long...they have talent.. Rider has lost a few in a row...but htye have a lot of talent esp at the pt with frosh Jordan...Rider can't play defense and the Saints can score...Saints win this and they are almost at the top of the MAAC despite a 7-11 record..
Iona -3.5 over Manhattan ***
Iona has lost 5 of last 7...vs MAAC teams they have lost to Quinn,Monmouth,Fairfield,and Delaware by 6,18,6 and 9...they are 1-5 ats...they avg 78 pts and give up 76...is that any different then last yrs avg 86 pts a game and giving up 84 ??? Washington inside has been there most consistent player avg 18 pts...Cashmir who a few yrs ago made all freshman MAAC and has been out all last yr woke up the other nite and scored 27 pts..he avg 4 pts a game.. I thought that would really give the Gaels the boost that they needed...but the next nite Cashmir scored 4 pts..oh well....Jaspers are just as inconsistent...Waterman scores 34 one nite and the next 8 pts...Turner has scored 23,21 and 22 pts in his last 3 games..Jaspers lyr won both games 70-56 and 86-73...Severe the Iona gd who transferred in last 3 games has scored 2,0 and 8 pts..and played 6 minutes in last game...not sure what is going on...thought he would be an impact transfer for Iona...lean to the Gaels..its an away game 12 miles down the " Hutch"...talent wise Iona has to much but that doesn't mean much...
