Florida St -5 over Rutgers ***
Rutgers is 6-0 playing at the RAC...I like Pikeill a lot..good coach,now he needs to recruit...they are no 2 in the nation in rebounding and defense...what ??? the Scarlet Nites...from Piscathaway or East Rutherford...something is wrong...is FBI investigating....homeland ...but then some sportswriter from a NJ newspaper exposed the truth....no FBI...Rutgers has played City College of NY,Centrl Conn,Coppin St,Bryant Col,Clev St and ECU...then the writer expanded on how much each school got to play Rutgers... $50,000.75,000etc,,City College got 5,000..what was that Ad thinking...and Pickeill has more games with FDU,Fordham,NJIT,and Hartford...they could win 11 games w/o a Big 10 team...Rutgers schedule according to Kenpom who I never,ever mention is ranked 351 for the easiest schedule..out of 352 teams..but wait Florida st is almost just as bad ranking 325th playing weak teams
Like FSU with Mann and co,,FSU has solid gds and Kaben Koumadge inside ..both big boys in the paint..Rutgers has Freeman at fd with no inside threat as top rebounder..and Freeman plays a lot outside. this team is not the best def team or rebounding team in the country...I like the line at -5 because I think FSU is much quicker,more athletic and has the best player on the court in Mann,,think they win by double digits..
South Dakota St +10 over Miss *
Daum can score.. Miss has better everything every where..but think Daum can hit a few bombs and keep it under the number..
Tulsa -9.5 over UTSA **
UTSA inside game has Allen who likes to pop out a lot..not a real post threat...I guess after watching them lose to TxSt they really never impressed me...a decent team..gds were of..no power fds...Canes have Etou who is tough..hate to say this but he transferred from Rutgers...Tulsa has about 4 or 5 gds that are quicker and more athletic...Canes lost to Iowa St and Illi St...also their gds are all 6'4,6'5..where Roadrunners are smaller with little bulk...
Ohio -3 over Iona **
Iona is hurting...inside game has always been bad,defense has always been worse then bad...but they don't have any big time 3 pt shooters that era-raced those weakness's...they are 1-4 and can't wait for the MAAC games to start...
