Think the aircraft carrier Govan can keep the Hoya's close..hate that they are 10-1 and beat up so many cupcakes but Butler has played a lot of home games.. Ewing scares me as a coach...butI'll take the home dog..
XU -3 over Marquette ****
Marq probably has the best 2 gd tandem in the country..Rousey and Howard are spectacular...the other kid Hou? I watched hit 3's from all over...but XU plays tough defense...Macura is awesome..but his partner Bluitt is in the ozone...they are deep and balanced scoring..with the 2 Marq gds think this is a close game...but XU is a much better overall team and won't be intimated by the home crowd...XU FG% and 3 pt shooting is outstanding..
Utah St -12 over San Jose ***
SJ hasn't beaten the Aggies in the last 20 times...talk about a dominated series...last yr these 2 teams were tied for 8th place in the Mt West...but Aggies have afew returning gds that have some talent..Merril and McEwin both 6'4 ..but their big surprise is Isby the juco transfer..he is avg 13 pts a game and in his last 2 games he has24 and 26 pts..Aggies at home have one of the best records...on the road they won 1 conf game and were 4-12 away...they are at home and San Jose doesn't have the gds to challenge the Aggies..San Jose does have a good rebounding team but think the Aggies win big..
