Oklahoma +7.5 over Texas *****
Sometimes when you handicapp you almost drop dead when you see the line, I always capp the game without ever looking at the line. Its after I make up my own line and see what the real line is do I make a play. I also use my own system ,seeing eye, great point gds match ups etc. I am usually pretty good with the lines being close. Rarely am I way off. But I did this game last night including Texas missing I think there best over all player and inside player Mitchell who is out with covid. It showed in their loss to Kansas St. I am aware that Texas plays much better at home but its the court comfy, not a frenzy home crowd and noise. Texas is more familiar with the baskets and court. I like Beard a lot and he has instilled a much better defense and I like his offense. He is upset they are not playing aggressive enough and has worked on that this week in practice. But this Texas team doesn't have an air craft carrier like its had for the past 5 or 6 years. Those guys all are in the NBA. They do have mobile guys around 6'7 6'8 but Mitchell was their best indside player. Plus he is a great passer inside the paint. Carr is amazing but K-state the other day pressured him and double him. He scored 6 points and missed a lot of open shots and forced shots. Febres is open but keep misses his open shots. Askew is only a frosh but he can really play.
Anyway OU has solid gds in Goldwire where I think could be the best pt gd in the B-12 Harkless at 6'3 is the best rebounding gd in the country. Like an energy bunny out on the court. Umoja Gibson played at North Texas for 3 years. He shoots 3's from the NBA line a few feet behind the college line. Range is unreal. You have inside Groves who looks like a lumberjack at 6'10 who can score and rebound coming from the Big Sky conf. Hill and Groves brother also play inside. But wait Kruger is no longer coaching So new guy Moser is the coach. But OU has already beaten a No 14 and 16 team in Arkansas and florida . and also beat Iowa St by 14. Mean while Texas at home has beaten up the Houston Baptists Northern Colorado's and St Mary's School of the blind.
Think tonight Texas is in a tough home game vs OU and think OU could win outright.
I will be at the game tonight in section 65 row 30 the furthest seat south of the staduim. Think I mentioned this If I lean back my head is the closet to the state capital building of the 16,000 seats . But I will come on down to section 33 and sit and bother Doglover and his wife. Doglover hope your there tonight.
