Taking Cleveland +3.5 for 1 unit

Cleveland always stays competitive at home, even against good teams. I don't think the Nets have been the same since they lost their big man TM. Kidd and Van Horn the only guys really contributing for the Nets right now. They have accounted for much of New Jersey's 52 points. NJ also shooting lights out, 21-37. Despite that, they are still tied with Cleveland who is 20-48 from the field. Going with the home team. I think Cleveland could win this game.

I like the CAVS here... neither team has been able to build much of a lead, and with the visiting NETS hitting 57%, I like the CAVS to make it game all nite, and possibly pull off the upset. MILLER and KIDD are going mano on mano and KIDD is unlikely to keep up the hot shooting. I'd be looking to go UNDER in the 2H also as I see CLE putting up a fight, but to this point, very few fouls have been called, and if KIDD keeps firing once he cools, CAVS will have to control the boards to be able to run, something they couldn't do in FH, being outboarded 24-17. With all that said, look for a slower pace scoring wise, lots of running, but more missing and the CAVS to either win, or lose a tight tight game late.

CLEV +3.5 - 1 Unit

** Lean to under 94.5, but suggest only CAVS

2 units on under 95 cle/nj......hitting about 53% combined on only 81 shots. 6-8 from 3 pt.

kidd and v. horn are the only guys hitting on a consistent basis for NJ (combined 15-21). Cleve should make an adjustment.

cleve +3.5 for 1 unit.

game 2-0.............+3.0 units

Sixers/Heat

Sixers/Heat

PASS

The Heat are too unpredictable, especially when considering totals. They could score 30 in one quarter and flirt with single digit scoring the next quarter. Would say under in the 2nd half, but I'm not comfortable making a call in a Miami game.

Iverson has had a poor offensive half and the sixers are still only down 4. Miami shooting 49%....majority of it from the outside.

Odds are both of those things will even out in the second. Philly pick for 2 units.

game 1-0.........+2.0 units

tonight 3-0.........+5.0 units

Philadelphia at MIAMI

Philadelphia at MIAMI

IVERSON has done very little, but I look for him to HEAT up in 2H and put the Sixers in a position to win this one. However, MIAMI has been a different team since the All Star break and with all their weapons back and healthy, I think their depth will win this one for them. MIAMI is the better team in my opinion, and although I agree with the above comments on not knowing what to expect, I like this team now. Much different animal than the one we used to see.... I think there will be a lot more threes taken and made in 2H also, and although these two are terrific on DEF, I like the OVER and will pass on the side... This game should be decided by 5 or less either way, so I would lean to PHILLY....

OVER 86.5 - 2 Units

I like the RAPTORS here... they have yet to try a 3 and are hanging tough despite VINCE's poor shooting.... MINNY is bound to start playing better and winning, but with both teams struggling and needing a win, I'll take the points! Also, I'd lean to the UNDER here.... 199 is a lot of pts considering the line was 186 before the tip!

TOR +2 - 1 unit

When spree/houston/and thomas are all contributing on offense, I like the Knicks more than I usually do (which is not very much).

I just can't bet on either one of these guys with much confidence. Guess I'd still go with the home team, but no thanks.

Going under 93.5 for 1 unit....think 2nd qt. is truer than the 1st qt.

game 0-1.........-1.1 units

tonight 3-1.........+3.9 units

Raptors/T Pups UNDER 93.5

Two teams that have been struggling offensively all of the sudden throw up 105 in the 1st half. I thought this game would go over the game total of 186.5 but I didn't think it would fly over. Still don't. Raptors are getting support from "unusual" suspects in this one. Like this one to go under. Both teams are due for a bad quarter in this one.
