Nice day yesterday, guy. I just couldn't follow you on the Chisox at over 2 to 1, tho. I'm glad it came in for you, I grabbed a bit of the over, not alot, but enough to make it worthwhile. GL today

HITMAN...thanks. The Over WAS the play in that one....glad you nailed it. I should have played that as well, but at least it worked out well for both of us, thanks to Nomo holding true to his horrible self. McCarthy's got potential, but it's clear he's not ready for the Bigs yet(got sent down today). Nomo, on the other hand, is clearly done. He's barely reaching upper 80's if that on this fastball. Almost like batting practice for the hitters vs him.

GL today.

NDF,

Do Westbrook's numbers this year against the Tigers not concern you? Don't get me wrong, I'm certainly not second guessing your play as you are as solid a capper as they come. The reason I ask is that I realize the Tribe has been solid at home this year, and that Westbrook in particular has been hot as of late, but Detroit has owned Westbrook this year both home & away.

Westbrook vs. DET this year...

4.1 IP
15 H
17 R
16 ER
33.23 ERA
4.38 WHIP
.536 BAA

As you can see, some pretty ugly numbers. I love the Tribe here, but these numbers are killing me. Anything I might be missing here?

Thanks

USC...no, those numbers don't really bother me too much in this game.

Westbrook had some troubles early in the season, but looks like everythings been worked out. Both those starts were back in April and trust me, he should make some adjustments to the hitters he had problems with in those games. There's still several in the Tiger lineup that don't hit him that good. These guys will probably be in the lineup:

Guillen 3 for 16 lifetime
Infante 2 for 12 lifetime
Inge 3 for 14 lifetime
Mags Ordonez 3 for 12 lifetime
Rondell White 2 for 20 lifetime

He's a groundball pitcher and he made plenty of mistakes in those 2 games, but he's on his game right now and I expect him to pitch well. What helps the decision to play them even more is the fact if he does struggle a bit, the Tribe's offense can bail anyone out right now. You also have a lights out bullpen with the Tribe.

Not sure this helps, but not much time to throw all my thoughts up.

Good luck today
