recap later....yesterday was bad; overall about +7 units YTD...
rare big fav day for me....
NYY -220
STL -165
SF -210
ARZ -125
ATL -280
MON -170
MLW +200
NYY under 9.5 +110
SD under 7.5 -115
ARZ under 9.5 -120
STl under 9 -110
2 units SF under 8.5 -105
let's take a look at a few of these. yanks have won 15 of clemens last 20 home starts....which justifies the large number. Roger is dynamite at home vs on the road...sporting a 2.5ish ERA over the last 20 starts. Castillo not bad, which helps the under, but not good enough to get bos the win. Castillo era under 4.00 on the road, and last 7/10 of his rd starts have gone under this total.
SF? Ortiz is an enigma. But when he is on, he's on. Despite his off days, you still get a playoff caliber team versus not only a 33% road team, but a 33% pitcher! Hampton had appeared to have turned the corner into becoming an average pitcher (from a disaster), and the last start scares me, but he has always pitched against sf at Sf well enough to combine with an expected ortiz well pitched game to put 2 down on the under. wsex moved from 8 under +100 to 8 under -110 as I was betting it, so somebody else must like it (-105 pinnacle).
ATL? Glavine at home doesn't exactly justify this price, but it isn't outrageous either. Torres in 68 carrer game appearances sports a WHIP of 1.6, and ERA of almost 6.00, and allows batters a .279 average. that is a recipe for defeat against the team with the best record in the majors.
MLW? clement is wicked, but no way can cubs be -200 over anyone, including a little league team. they are too unpredictable, and 50/50 with clement at home. MLW sucks, but can compete with the flubs, and getting +200 with a virgin doggie pitcher, I'm on it.
Montreal not only sends out a dominant colon, but a weak tit duckman is his countermate. Mon has a nifty 40-28 home record, and philly will noty win a nother 2-1 game against him, as the duckster has a whopping 9.00 era on the road over 5 most recent starts....yes, a 9.00 era.....
arz is still tied for best home record, and sends out a capable anderson, who has half the era of ishi at home versus road over last 5. despite ishi's rd problems all year long, LA gets locked into a lot of lowert scoring games, so the under 9/5 is tasty too!
go get em'!
