Tuesday Look Ahead: Kings +7 ov DALLAS

After sweating the Dallas/Utah game tonight (2/3/03) I think it offers some good insight into tomorrows (2/4/03) game in Dallas.

Mavs were VERY lucky to win as the Jazz missed 7 free throws.

Nowitzki played 45 minutes and Finley played 42 minutes! Nash who still has a sore shoulder played 31 minutes. Now they're going to fly home to Dallas and get ready for a rested Kings team that is missing Chris Webber.

Overnight line is Kings +7

I think this is a very solid play. While missing Webber is huge, the Mavs have to be tired from the Utah game. Kings have Peja, Turkoglu and Keon Clark to guard Nowitzki.

Depth about even, but I really think the Mavs will be tired here. Kings were blow out by the Rockets two days ago and should be rested because it was garbage time early.

Sacramento has not been playing well in the absence of C. Webber, but IMO, they still have the better matchups. More importantly, the Mavericks will not get back to Dallas until 2:00 AM. Dallas just won a close game in Utah and might very likely have a let down here with Sacramento. I just think 6.5 is just too much to give to a good Sacramento team, even without Webber.
